Say Yes to the Lace

#OOTD #
Eyelash lace top from Forever 21 (product no. 2000032875), Banana Republic white skinny jeans, Longchamp Belzane hobo, rose gold ToyWatch, Tiffany & Co. jewelry, garnet and diamond ring, Chanel sunnies, Theory and J.Crew skinny belts I wore together for a double strap look, Adrienne Vittadini wedges

I wore this Forever 21 Eyelash Lace top (product no. 2000032875) today and I absolutely adore it! I purchased it via the website about two weeks ago and it's still available in small, medium and large. For reference, I'm wearing size small and I can understand why others would pass on it since it's more of a cropped length.

FIT

I measured the size small for Annie and my own measurements match up very closely with the description on the website in case that helps others that may also be interested. (Note: Annie ended up slimming hers on the size by 1" on each side. I'm wearing it unaltered.)

BACK IN STOCK

The popular blouse with navy bows that was reviewed by Jean, Cee and I is now available in size small at shopruche.com for $38.99. I purchased mine on modcloth.com for $42.99 in May.

Update: Annie mentioned that the Ruche version looks like a different color than the Modcloth version. At first glance, I thought that their stock image was off in color and they describe it as 'vintage-inspired beige' but either way this peach/pink color is still adorable!

Get both while you can ladies! =)

Let's hope this comment goes thru....

I think the lace top looks much better on you even tho you think the length is too short. After slimming the sides, I still don't think it fits right. I do love it so I guess we shall see..LOL

Thx for the heads up on the blouse from ShopRuche...I want to order it for one of my sisters- she loves peach and this is totally her! YAY!

I love your taste in clothes Jess! I would have never considered that F21 blouse before you wore it, now I want it :) I assume you have a cami underneath..?

Thanks for the follow Annie. :)

Aww... I'm sorry to hear that. Would you consider getting another since you don't like it post alterations? Also, how did you wash it? Per Tiffany's recommendation, I dry cleaned my lace dress. I'd love to be able to wash over dry clean. hehe

Let me know how your sister likes it. It does appear to be a different color than the Modcloth version so maybe I was wrong in my Pinterest comment.

Thanks so much Katherine! It actually comes with the pink lining so no cami necessary (which is why I love it because sometimes you layer with a cami and it just looks bulky or something. It's the slightest bit see through so a nude bra is recommended.

Aww Yvonne. You're too nice. And thanks so much for stopping by my blog. I loved your style so much (it's chic, fun, a little edgy, clean cut and very minimalist).

Thanks Sapna. You asked and I listened. I just updated this post to include a caption with the details of the outfit. I'll try to be more diligent going forward. This was admittedly a very quick post I put together before I ran off to dinner.

Note that you can click on each image and it will open in a new window where I described the details of my outfit via Instagram.

I want to say I have your F21 lace top in the dress version, but can't remember the pattern detailing off the top of my head. Love how it looks so fresh with your white jeans!

The peach version of the bow blouse is oh-so-cute! I can't justify two almost identical items, but if something were to happen to mine, I know where to find a backup ;) Thanks Jess!

Thanks so much Cee and you're welcome (I have a bad habit of buying backups but no, I didn't buy a backup for the bow blouse). Thanks again for the mention too! :)

Yvonne of moderngirlblog.com said the same thing above. How did I miss out on the dress?
