I recently purchased a hand carved horn scarf ring, Moyenne size in dark honey from MaiTai. With shipping it was €39.10 EUR or $52.54 USD. It took 4 days to arrive from France to New York but I didn’t receive the package until a week later (due to processing and handling between NY and MA).
MaiTai packs the item with extreme care so my package arrived in perfect condition. It was sent in a padded envelope with bubble wrap and tissue paper around a small blue dust box tied with a pink ribbon. Inside the box is a lovely blue velvet pouch with the scarf ring. The item itself also appears to be top quality/craftsmanship and it is smooth and substantial to the touch.
For those of you that are curious, the Moyenne size is approximately 1.75″ L x 1.25″ W.
I’m sure I’ll be purchasing more (in different sizes/colors) once I master tying knots with the Moyenne size. I’ve been searching a scarf ring for a while in order to achieve a more polished look and I’m glad I discovered MaiTai‘s blog.
