Tonight I attended a work-related event and I wore my new dress (purchased size 0P) and bangle (I really want this bracelet in the middle!) from the Banana Republic Trina Turk collection. The dress is the most colorful one in my collection because I’m usually a one hue/neutral kind of gal. I received many compliments on it throughout the day (and both @bananarepublic and @trinaturk liked a few my posts on Instagram… so cool!). I saw the dress in size 00P on Jean and hauled my butt to the store only to find that there were many sizes still available at both Copley and The Mall at Chestnut Hill. (Was the petites version ever available online?) The latter mall has an amazing petites collection and if I have to shop any any BR I prefer this one.
I also purchased the bangle and pencil case (which I use as a makeup bag) the first day the collection was available to BR’s Facebook fans. I also noticed and checked out the debut of collection through Gilt.com but I like my BR Rewards and pain free return policy (plus I earned $40 on this month’s statement)!

What are your thoughts on this latest designer collaboration? Have you purchased anything from the collection?
omg i love every thing about this outfit. especially those bracelets!xxGlass of Fashion
Thanks Lia. I'm sure everyone got sick of seeing my dainty Tiffany bracelets. I left a comment on your most recent blog post… I hope you have a great weekend. 🙂
i adore the collection and it really looks great on you!! my name is jess too 😀 if you like my blog, do you want to follow each other? xoxo jesswww.stylizedluxe.blogspot.com
Thanks Jess! Don't you just love the name? I love the show 'The New Girl' even more because she shares our name (and I love her adorable outfits).I fell in love with your blog and left a message on your most recent blog post. I also followed you via Google Connect but let me know if you have any other accounts that you'd like me to follow (e.g. Bloglovin or Facebook).
And a funny fact – our last names rhyme and there is only one letter difference (switch out the 'C' with an 'L'). 😀
Cute outfit and great finds at BR! I have yet to check it out. A Little Piece of Fashion and Beauty
Hi Karen, Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. Left you a comment on your most recent post. 🙂
that dress is actually SUPER pretty!!! i'm a big fan of collabs.. especially target collabs!!! but i love this dress because the print is definitely what i would consider "louder" than the typical clothes at BR!! the print is so pretty!! and i love it paired with your black patent loubies :)!
Thanks Lisa! You're too sweet. Based on Jean's reviews (e.g. on the Jason Wu collection) I don't think the Target collabs would fit me but you're so lucky that it works for you. 🙂
I looked at the H&M with Lanvin and Marni. I think the Lanvin collection is quite sophisticated in terms of production compare to Marni and even Versace – which seems to have quite a distance. I love the Lanvin collaboration with H&M 🙂
I saw the Lanvin collection on a few bloggers (and Chiara F. of The Blonde Salad previewed it before it was every available to anyone else) but I was too lazy to stand in line to see the collection for myself. Did you score anything from that particular collaboration?
