The Hermès Clic H bracelet has been on my wish list for a while but the store on Newbury Street seemed very intimidating. I went to college in Boston and stayed on afterwards for work so I’ve definitely walked by the store for many years but I never once stepped inside until a few weeks ago. I love the aesthetics of the store and I vowed to come back. Tax free weekend in MA was just the little push I needed to visit the local Hermès store and it was very timely because I spotted the bracelet in the ‘powder pink’ color that I wanted.
Here are a some pictures of the Clic H bracelet including a few pairings with some of my new and old favorite accessories.
Paired with my favorite mini rose gold Toywatch
Paired with my Banana Republic horsebit bracelet (similar)
Paired with my Kate Spade Enamel Garden Bracelet
The inner diameter of size PM measures 1 3/4″ by 2 1/8″ and I have a 6″ wrist. Click here to see how I did the measurement.
I’m really excited to get a lot of wear out of these pairings. If you’re in Boston what did you buy this tax free weekend?
Update: I sold the Clic H bracelet to another blogger and it’s worth noting that the hardware is prone to scratches which is consistent with the honest reviews of the wear and tear here. I was able to resell my bracelet despite noticeable scratches. I wish the bracelet was more scratch resistant given the high price tag. I didn’t find the bracelet to be very comfortable given the weight and thickness of the bangle. When your skin swells during warmer weather the bracelet can feel snug and uncomfortable if there isn’t enough of a gap between your wrist bone and the bracelet (size PM is a closer fit on my 6″ wrist).
My go to everyday bracelet is this Tiffany & Co. open heart bracelet (in sterling silver) by Elsa Peretti which I’ve had since 2008. I prefer delicate bracelets so the Clic H ended up being a regret purchase.
Thanks for stopping by!
Ah I never took advantage of tax free weekend in Boston! But I liked the no sales tax on things under $175, I miss it here in California :)GREAT purchase and it looks like it'll match with a ton of your items! Very classic and I love the Boston H shop, I always had fun eating a hot dog or ice cream on the park benches and then walking across to street to visit H!
So glad I dipped my toes into the H pool with this purchase. 🙂 I saw this stylish lady walk into the store knowing what she wanted. She tried on two bags and purchased one that was the price of 3 of probably my LV bags. lolDid you use to live or go to school in Boston?
Beautiful bracelet!! It looks great on you. I hope one day to own a Hermes bracelet! 🙂 I love tax-free! The perk of getting my Chanel down in Oregon becaue of it. Hahaha
Thanks Sheila.NH is close by and tax free. Tax free is just another excuse to splurge albeit not a very good one. 😉
