LOFT Petite Butterfly Print Racerback Cami Dress & Sale Alert

LOFT Butterfly Print Racerback Cami Dress - size 0

LOFT had another 50% off promotion today with code FIFTY except this time it excluded new arrivals. I apologize for the late sale alert but I'm sure I'm not your only enabler and a total slacker at that lately.

Last week I tried on this butterfly print dress in stores. I spotted the dress just as I was about to head out of the store and fell in love with the print. I can't seem to find it to purchase online in regular or petite sizing (the stock image doesn't load which is strange). My gut tells me it's an in-store new arrival that's yet to fully hit online but at the same it's marked as sold out online. I'll be watching this dress like a hawk because I really want/need this dress. I believe size 00 or 0P should fit me better than the 0 I tried on. I would have loved this dress for our engagement shoot this past Sunday but I ended up wearing this eyelet dress since it seemed more fitting for the occasion. If you're around my height/weight but bustier then the regular 0 is a petite friendly length and fit.

LOFT Striped Sailor Skirt - 0P

I also finally got a chance to try on this striped skirt on my wishlist but unfortunately I found the back slit to be too narrow. I grabbed the chambray shirt just so that I would have something to pair with the skirt but I wasn't able to reach under to pull out the creases after I tucked it in. Needless to say I walked out empty handed but I'll be placing an order for some items I've been eying including these cute camp pants.

In other news, Everlane sent me the slingback sandals that I ordered in my previous post in the wrong color. I recall another reading another online review that complained about getting the wrong color as well. Unfortunately I didn't care for how the sandals looked on me (refer to the picture here). Although they appeared really well made, the straps felt too stiff and seemed prone to blisters along the ankle straps. I didn't like the two snap buttons they used instead of a traditional buckle. It was an odd fit with the straps tucked in but they also looked strange when I tried to untuck the straps to wear them out.

Banana Republic Factory Online & My First Everlane Purchase

Theory shirt dress
Theory shirt dress (old)
J.Crew Sloane cap toe pumps (old review here)
Coach Factory Peyton Leather Cora domed satchel (similar here)

I was reading StylishPetite's blog today when I noticed that she was able to link to an item on Banana Republic Factory online. I couldn't believe my eyes and I've been on wedding planning mode so I apologize if BR Factory online is old news to everyone else. I spotted a few cute things below including the belt I'm wearing above (reviewed in this previous post). I originally purchased the belt in M/L but I realized after the fact that it was too loose and I re-ordered it tonight in S/M.

Note: Size M/L measures 29" end to end and stretches easily to 36". I'll post the larger size for sale soon on @shopwhatjesswore but please let me know if you're interested!

I've been lusting after these Everlane slingbacks in my search for new flat summer sandals (I know I wear my beloved Zara chainlink sandals way too much). I finally pulled the trigger tonight after they restocked my size in the hazel color. Everlane carries beautiful closet staples and most recently they decided to become more transparent about their pricing. I first heard about this brand through Her Imajination last year and have been window shopping ever since. These sandals are my first purchase from them so I'll do an updated review once I receive them. I ordered my usual size 7.

I was also looking for shoes for our upcoming engagement photos this Sunday and I ordered this Cole Haan Melrose sandal to try since it looked like a good neutral. I'm still deciding what to wear and I'm learning towards a dress but at least my fiancé's outfit is all set. I also got eyelash extensions for the first time about a week and a half ago in preparation for the photos and I'm getting them touched up tomorrow. If there is enough interest I may do a post on my experience in a future post otherwise I'm more than happy to answer questions.
