If you follow me on Instagram then you may have seen that I’ve been carrying this Ann Taylor mini pebbled signature tote nonstop since I got it mid-August. I love the smaller size, it’s very well made and holds its shape. It also looks more expensive than what I paid for it. The pretty chain strap (43″ total length for a 21.5″ drop) is removable and a good length for someone around my height (I’m 5′ 2 1/2″) when worn as a shoulder bag or cross body. For some reason I personally don’t like to wear the bag as a cross body because the strap digs into my chest.
The only improvements I would like to see is if the outer pocket had a magnetic closure to keep the pocket closed. If you put more things in the bag then the outer pocket sticks out like a lip so I’ve been more mindful of what I pack inside. Finally, for peace of mind, I would prefer a zip top closure when bending over (for fear of small items slipping out), taking public transportation and walking around the city but I suppose that’s the trade off for the classic, boxy shape.
