It’s almost Friday and I just wanted to share a few of my recent favorites. Finally, a non-LOFT post!

{Currently loving} #YSL Rouge Volupte Shine in #RoseInfinite and my new Sheer Glam case in champagne from @casemate. #casemate #iphone6 #loveit #picoftheday #instagood #glitterglam
YSL Rouge Volupté Shine – #7 Rose Infinite

Casemate Sheer Glam Case for iPhone 6 (iPhone 5/5S version here)

I recently upgraded to the iPhone 6 (pre-ordered it via Verizon and skipped the crazy lines) but by the time I went to look for a case all the pretty ones were sold out. After much browsing I came across this glittery beauty and couldn’t be happier.

Trying on @bananarepublic's gray speckled hacking jacket in 0P. Fits narrow so size up if you plan to layer comfortably. // Sign up for direct links to available items in my posts @liketoknow.it www.liketk.it/vRig #liketkit
Banana Republic Gray Specked Blazer – trying on size 0P

Kendall & Kylie for Madden Girl Poppyyy flats – runs 1/2 size bigger

I tried on this hacking blazer earlier this week and I can’t stop thinking about it. Note that it runs fitted so you may want to size up to layer comfortably. Size 2P was too loose and boxy on me. If you’re a BR card holder then you can get 40% off with code BRTHANKYOU while non-cardholders get 30% off with the same code.  I’m also obsessed with this scarf but I didn’t see it in store.

Tory Burch Sullivan Boots
Tory Burch Sullivan Boots – I ordered these during their recent F&F sale for 25% off

Measurements:

3.25″ heel with a .5″ platform. The shaft (measured from the back of the top of the stacked heel) is 15.5″ and the circumference of the leg opening is 13.75″.

Fit reference:

In my opinion these run true to size to half size larger since I can be between half sizes. I took size 7 in this style. The middle (widest part of my calves) measures 13.25″ while the very top of my calves below the knee caps are 12.25″.

I saw these boots (suede version here) while browsing in store and immediately gravitated towards the chic simplicity of this style. Unfortunately, I’m on the fence about returning them because the ankles bunch a little bit and I can stick my whole hand into the gap up top. The width of the foot also runs slightly narrow so if you plan on wearing thick socks for warmth that may not work especially if your feet swell from a full day of walking or standing. I’m contemplating getting heel lift inserts since the shaft is the slightest bit too tall for my leg. This means that when I sit down it digs into the back of my knees. Aesthetically the look of the Sullivan boot is very sleek and I love the sturdy, non-slip sole and discreet logo.

Louise Et Cie Nerine Heels
Louise Et Cie Nerine Heels – last seen here and here

These lovely black suede pumps by Louise Et Cie are another shoe I loved upon first sight. I purchased them for 20% off retail at Lord & Taylor a little while back but it looks like they’re on sale and available at Dillards for cheaper ($83.40). They fit true to size and I took my usual size 7. The 3″ heel is a very comfortable height and the peep toe opening doesn’t dig/bite into my toes which is very important.

Have a lovely weekend!

Those booties look very chic on you Jess, I hope you keep it. I also got the Delisa buckle pair from AT, not a great look on me, but they're so comfy so I don't care. Love the poncho too, how cute.

Wow the tall boots look great on you. I'm also searching for my very first pair of tall boots but haven't found any that catch my eyes to try on. I like all details you pointed out especially the stable heels and non-slip sole, but I don't think they are promising for my frame. haiz!Btw, I just saw you posted the AT cape on your insta. I have to admit I ordered it lol, XSP. It is my first cape, and I'm so pleased with the design and how it look on me ^_6.

Thanks Jasmine! I did in fact keep them but I'm looking for a flat pair similar to my Stuart Weitzman mainline boots that I've worn to death. I'm hoping my cobbler can revive it with some polishing and TLC.The Delisa booties look so comfy and the heel is very practical! There's a pair of booties I adore at Banana Republic called 'Tilia' but they're so not practical. None of the recent promotion codes work on it otherwise I would have probably gotten them.

Have you heard of Duo boots? You may want to look into them as they have many different options and an online friend recommended the company (she bought a few pairs) but I've yet to try them out.I'm glad you got the AT cape! I'm curious to know how the petites version would have fit but they didn't have petites in store (yet).

Thanks for the info, I just checked them out. They have many beautiful designs, guess I'll pass coz I have no ideas abt high ride boots so would love to try them on before a purchase. I also hesitate because my legs make more difficult to shop boots.

So you return the shoes, will you help me with some opinions on the LOFT ankle boots, I never buy shoes from them. Somehow I feel like they look cheap, but in your picture they look really nice. Yep, The AT pair is now my everyday item. I got a pair of leggings (the zip pocket ponte) from AT too. They are my first leggings and I'm so glad I got them. I wear them with the Delisa boots and that helps elongate the legs. I don't buy at BR often, most of the times are for my husband. I don't have a card there so deals are not attractive for me. My local store doesn't carry any petites – one more point makes it less convenient. Their shipping is very competitive thou, so I still browse BE & Gap website once in while. Those Tilias look really versatile but the heels tsk tsk too high!

Aww I'm sorry to hear that. I'm hesitant to order boots online too because I prefer to see and try them on myself.

They totally caught my eye but I agree the price is steep. Booties aren't my comfort zone so I will just keep them in my wishlist for now unless I spy them on another blogger and decide I really must try them myself. 😉 I was a Sperry Topsider with my husband this weekend and trying on a bunch of styles for fun while my husband bought his winter boots. The 'Harlow' in dark brown and 'Saltwater duck boot' in graphite stripe were my favorites. Those are much more affordable and very cute options for the winter.

I've bought shoes from LOFT infrequently. These particular booties were a decent quality but a bit stiff and heavy as one reviewer noted.I'm glad you love your AT bootie. I love legging jeans! They're so flattering with everything especially booties since I love that look on other people. I got excited when I found a pair of skinny jeans at Ann Taylor last week but turns out they stretched out after wearing them all day so I was bummed. I'm going to try to stick them in the dryer and hope they stay tight during my next wear.I haven't bought much BR for myself lately but they have great mens clothing and my husband fits their size XL perfectly. I have a BR Luxe card so the free shipping is very convenient. I'm sure you have your reasons for not signing up for a BR card but I love the perks. None of the recent sales have worked on the Tilias so they're still on my wishlist. By the way, their Lisa scarf is my new favorite scarf since I love the large check pattern. I got it in cocoon and navy and I was going to return the navy but my husband actually loves it since it's oversized and looks like a mens scarf. 😉
