This weekend get 50% off your entire purchase at Ann Taylor in stores and online with code FASHION50.
I tried on this camel print silk camp shirt in regular XS. It’s a bit loose fitting and long so if I order it online then I’ll try a size XXS.

Banana Republic Sloane ankle pants, size 0P
Cole Haan flats
A while back I tried on these Millie flats in store in navy size 7. They’re soft and comfy and in my opinion they run true to size but my size is currently sold out online. Note that they’re offering double points for shoe purchases if you’re a card holder.

Update 10/25: I popped by one of my local Ann Taylor’s last night and tried on this tweed skirt after my coworker had pointed it out. Size 0P fit well and the length was very work appropriate but I passed for now.

Petite styles were very limited in the store I visited so my only find was this floral lace dress that caught my eye in the sales rack. I got it on final sale for $54.88. I love the midi skirt length and the fact that a regular black bra blends right in and doesn’t show through the material.

Note: Petites sizes are sold out online and only some larger and tall sizes left.
I forgot to share this casual top from a few weeks ago but I’ve since returned it and the item number of the receipt (17488990) doesn’t help me locate it online. It’s cute if you can find the right size. The sheer material on the arms are really tight even in small petite so I returned it.

Ann Taylor crepe overlay top, size SP
Old Navy Rockstar Legging Jeans, size 4 short
Madden Girl Kendall & Kylie Poppyy flats (super comfy, runs half size larger)
Here are my other picks from this sale. I’ve slightly updated my picks based on a few items I saw in regular sizing in person. 😉
I’m still looking for the crepe moto jacket in XXSP since XSP was too roomy on me as the fit is one size bigger. I’m hoping my size will pop up in the sales rack but at this point I’m running out of hope so I guess it wasn’t meant to be.
I love your fitting room pics/reviews! Very helpful! I adore the dress on you 🙂
Thanks Annie! FYI. I saw the regular size lace scalloped dress in person and it's very beautiful in the black on black lining combination this year. They didn't have petites for the dress at the store I visited otherwise I would have tried it on.
Hi Jess, the camel shirt looks really cute on you, make me want to check it out. You remember the eyelet white shirt from LOFT? I didn't care abt it until I saw it on you. Thank you! And that dress, yes it is a great find! Lucky you! And why it has to look so nice in your picture, the floral lace texture is somehow standout. I was wondering how did I miss this dress. Then I followed your link and realized I saw it a few times but didn't pay attention, not that cute on the model…And here is the link to the blouse: http://www.anntaylor.com/crepe-overlay-top/350878?colorExplode=false&skuId=17489744&catid=cata000010&productPageType=fullPriceProducts&defaultColor=9099 It caught my eyes, but I never bring myself to order it. lol.
Thanks Jasmine! I appreciate the link to the 'unknown' top. I may try it in regular XS and the blush color and hope the arms are looser. I didn't order anything during their last sale even though I sure wanted to especially when they extended it. I made some big purchases and I'm trying to cull my closet so I was trying to be good although who knows how long that will last. I wish the camel blouse was polyester because I hate dry cleaning. I do remember that eyelet white shirt (and I thought about wearing it today)! Many retailers are guilty of doing a disfavor to themselves when they post less than ideal images of their products that either look bad on their models, use poor lighting or they fail to show all of the angles of the item straight on. I wish more retailers would provide video footage of the items like ASOS and Zappos, etc. I also find Modcloth's measurements by size very helpful even though I haven't ordered from them in a long time.
