Forever 21 is having a Friends & Family sale in store and online with code F21FRIEND and today is the last day. I stopped ordering online from them since last December (the inconsistent sizing resulted in constant returns and I was racking up store credits that took me forever to spend) but I would still browse their new arrivals from time to time.
I finally gave in to temptation and ordered two items that I’d been lusting after and I couldn’t be more pleased. See them on be below as well as my other sale picks. I also hope I come across this jacket and plush bathrobe in stores during one of my visits in stores since they’re both sold out online. However, I really hope they either restock or my size comes back in stock online since the in store experience is always a mad house. The popular tartan plaid scarf (also sold out online) may be worth a visit to the stores if you’ve been on the hunt for a similar scarf to the Zara version.

Forever 21 Draped Attached-Scarf Cardigan, size XS (runs large as intended by the style)
Old Navy rockstar legging jeans
Stuart Weitzman Justmine boots (runs half size bigger but the foot runs slightly narrow)
Note: The Mainline style from previous years is available on Shopbop here

Burberry Bowpark Rain Jacket, size 2
Louis Vuitton Damier Ebene Neverfull MM

Forever 21 Asymmetrically Draped Jacket, size XS (sleeves are long but I like them worn pushed up)
Ann Taylor Gallery Tote (last year’s style)
SHOP MY SALE PICKS:
Yesterday I finished my morning appointment early and perused the multiple sales in stores before the weekend crowds came en mass. Here are some quick fitting room try-ons:
I received an email code for J.Crew for 25% off in stores through Sunday 11/2 so I decided to swing by to see if they had any coats that were on my wishlist. Meanwhile I’m patiently waiting for my coveted bow coat to arrive in the mail.

J.Crew Chateau Parka, size 00

Other views for reference (please see my clothing size reference here)
I tried on this vneck sweater at Banana Republic and loved how flattering they were in both colors so I took them home. They were on sale and 35% off my total since I’m a card holder so it made the price a little easier on the wallet and I really need sweaters.

Banana Republic Extra-Fine Merino Wool Vee Pullover, size XSP
I was hoping to see the Kate Spade x GapKids collaboration pieces in stores but it either isn’t in stores yet or the collection skipped my local Gap. In the meantime, I came across this cute, lightweight parka that would be perfect for layering since it’s a very loose, boxy fit. I wish the waist had the option to cinch in like this jacket.

GapKids Solid Parka, size 12
Since I was in stores early, I spotted this sold out Lou & Grey Colorblock tee dress as reviewed by Jean in the petites section. It was an online return in SP which fit me decently but I think I would need XSP for an even more flattering fit. The material is thinner for the winter but it’s a good fall dress and looks good with tall boots.

Lou & Grey Colorblock tee dress, size SP

LOFT striped mesh trim sweater, size S (runs small since I usually wear XXS or XSP)

LOFT Tweedy Admiral Jacket, size 00 (similar here)
H&M scalloped top (old)

LOFT ribbed open cardigan, size SP

Ann Taylor Scalloped Lace dress, size 0P

Ann Taylor Dandelion Print Dress, size XSP
Note: The print is really cute in real life but not sure if I like the elasticized waistband on me.

Ann Taylor Feathered Hem Dress, size 0P
Note: Runs 1-2 sizes big and boxy

Ann Taylor Faux Leather Pocket Shift Dress, size XSP
Note: I found that this shift dress fits just like their online stock image.
You can’t tell here but it hits me mid-thigh which is too short for my taste.
