I wanted to love this scallop bodice dress but it was a little difficult to get flattering shots of it which means I’m probably wearing the wrong size. Due to my larger rib cage and winter waistline (see my size reference here) I probably need this dress in regular 00 which is currently sold out online in the aqua sky color.

The reviews said that this shirttail cami ran large so I went with size XXSP instead of my usual size XSP or XXS regular. It’s double layered but still see through in daylight as you can see here. It drapes really well and isn’t prone to wrinkling but I don’t like that it doesn’t work with regular bra straps so it will likely go back.

I was hemming and hawing about this mixed media tiered peplum shell for the past few orders but I finally ordered it in whisper white and black and I actually like both colors. Size XXS fit me well and it wasn’t too short or too boxy for once. I love how it drapes and with a nude bra the whisper white color isn’t too see through.

I also got this drapey chambray softened shirt and I love it for the spring since it’s made of thinner fabric. I like pockets on the chest which add some interest. Size XXS regular fit me perfectly. Also as a very quick review, size 24 (28 ankle) of the DSTLD low rise ankle skinny jeans fit me really well and I just had to slightly cuff the length at the end. As I mentioned previously, I found this style to run big and the material is really stretchy so I sized down to size 24 after ordering both size 25 and 26 to try on initially. The creme tencel fabric is a flattering off white and made of a thinner material so make sure you wear the right under garments. I noticed that the front slash pockets are faux pockets but the back pockets are functional. i cant stop looking at this trench, Jess! so cute….years ago, i used to have an adorable cropped navy swing jacket from f21 with rounded peter pan collar but somehow got ruined when someone did my laundry. 🙁 I thought of myself as the cartoon Madeline when I wore it. lol. I think this one can replace my RIP jacket. It is not easy to find cute cropped swing jackets. Thank you 4 your measurements as always…. I can fit S and might get both online cause I cant decide which i like. LOL i know i sound like a broken record when i say this but u really find the cute stuff, Jess! I am a sucker for ditsy floral prints…..that dress is too much! love it!
For some reason, when I see the Loft ink dot blot top from a distance, I think of the playing card designs of spade, clover, etc which for some reason fascinate me. LOL I never thought of it as a layering cami piece under a sweater (saw you wore it on instagram….adorbs!). It really has a nice flow to it too! Loft knows how to make some good pieces…. I think the romper is stunning on you. I really like the design too on you…I dont think it is bold at all….I'd compare it the Zara bird dress. But i understand if you prefer solid prints…you wear what makes you confident/comfy. I agree with you about rompers and restrooms though. LOL So I guess you arent going to buy the romper even if you find the right size? 🙁 happy weekend, Jess. Take care of yourself.
How do you like the side view of the Loft peplum top? I recently bought it and think it looks good from the front but I'm not sure if it's my body type, but I think it looks strange/unflattering from the side. I'm still debating if I should keep it because the style is cute.
The arm hole is a bit big on me now that you mention examining the side view. I took the side picture for you to see (refer to the attached image). I think it looks okay from the side on me. I have a pretty straight figure with mininal curves. I also love the style and plan to keep both colors since I usually wear a cardigan over sleeveless tops (I'm insecure about my arms) so how it looks from the side isn't something I think about as much. 🙂 I hope this helps!

It's sad when a favorite gets ruined but I hope this will fill the void. The mini daisy dress will be on heavy rotation this spring and summer. My legs can't wait to feel the wind. I know you mentioned about wearing the right undergarments for it….but did you find the leg portion of this jeans see-through? or is still white enough when put on? some white jeans seem not to be as white once you put it on cause of skin color vs when unworn. i know i ask the most annoying meddlesome questions….sorry. 🙁 Thank you again, Jess.
Yes! My mom loved it so much I got her one around Christmas. I actually want the Coach Margot carryall but I know I don't need another bag. It's the girl in me. We just can't have enough bags. I keep getting those Coach Outlet sales but so far I've been good (haven't hit check out… yet).Thanks. I actually think the empire waist is a little too high on me. The petite version looks best on Stylish Petite even though she mentioned the need to slim it and she got 00P. I like how it seems to just skim her figure and the above the knee length is my preference so it's not too high when you sit down.The DSTLD jeans I got are a bit tighter in the thighs and more low rise than the BR indigo legging jeans. The leg portion is not see through at all but I was just referring to the butt since you can see panty lines if you're not careful about what you wear underneath. I usually wear things that cover my butt so that's not too much of a concern but figured it was worth mentioning. To me it looks just as white when you put it on so it's not that see through/thin.
