Whenever I buy something new I like to try it on again at home so I put together these two outfits quickly. I’m really looking forward to wearing them out when the temperatures warm up.

I was going to place an online order for this flutter sleeve top but size XXS regular which I thought I needed sold out quickly. After my haircut today I went in store on my way home and tried on size XS again (review here) as well as size XSP and SP. SP fits a lot like XS regular so XSP actually fit me really well in the armholes and it wasn’t too short/boxy.
Ann Taylor Dotted Chiffon Ruffle Shell, size XS regular
Ann Taylor Textured Flounce Skirt (size 00P)
StylishPetite told me about this dotted chiffon ruffle shell (see size XXSP on her here) and I regret not keeping better tabs on it because it’s currently sold out the smaller petite sizes online. Hopefully I’ll find it in store soon but my local store didn’t carry it in petites. I tried on XS regular today which was very loose (the cami insert has adjustable straps so that’s a plus) but it’s absolutely darling when tucked into the textured flounce skirt. I adore these two pieces together. Size 00P of the skirt measures 26″ at the waist and 19″ long. My current natural waist is 28″ inches so I’m wearing it as a high-waisted skirt here. I love that the skirt has pockets. The fabric isn’t stiff so it drapes well and the daises are oh so cute.
Ann Taylor Graphic Floral Print Blouse, size XS regular (this floral print also available as a skirt)
The sales associate suggested that I try on this graphic floral print blouse and I was surprised that I liked the larger floral print. Size XS regular fit very loose and boxy on me so I have it on my wishlist in size XXS regular. The polyester fabric doesn’t feel like the usual thin, silky material but it has a thicker weight to it. However, the more I stare at this picture the more it reminds me of a hospital scrub in this current size/fit.
Ann Taylor Lace Front Crepe Tee, size XS regular
I like the cute floral lace overlay in the front of this lace front crepe tee so I tried it on for size. Size XS fit me okay but it was a little long and the fabric seemed clingy. This navy top would look really cute with white denim and some gold accessories but I passed on it for now.
Ann Taylor Mesh Flare Dress, size 0P
I actually meant to try this mesh flare dress on during my last visit but I had put on all my clothes so I was too lazy and put it back. I grabbed it to try on again today and found that size 0P runs really big as you can see here. I’d say this dress fits more like a 2P so I would recommend sizing down. The fabric was was very light and airy but not see through.
Ann Taylor Floral Eyelet Dress, size 00P (review of size 0P here)
Lastly, I’ve had this floral eyelet dress on my mind and tried it on in size 00P today to see if it would fit me better than 0P (review here). Note that every dress is slightly different and in real life I didn’t like the placement of the flowers on this exact dress even though it pictured well here. I also wasn’t wearing a statement necklace unlike my last try one so the v-neck is deeper than I realized but still work appropriate.
