My husband and I enjoyed a lovely spring stroll in the city on Sunday and he surprised me by getting this pretty Prada continental bow wallet as an early birthday present. I adore the pretty light blue (astrale) color with the silver hardware. I’ve been trying to get more practical bags and wallets for everyday use but I splurge on a new luxury bag every few years if something catches my eye. Last year it was the Marais BB by Louis Vuitton. However, the last time I bought a luxury wallet was in 2008/2009 and I was surprised by his sweet gesture. I also asked him to take a few shots of my outfit for the blog and he ended up snapping up a storm so I had plenty to choose from. Most of the pictures were unusable because I was busy making angry faces at him while he told me to do yet another pose. Ha. If you’ve followed my blog for a while then you’ve noticed that I like to take my photos in the comfort of our home. I’m admittedly quite shy so it was a good thing these side streets didn’t have that many people passing through or I would have really slayed him with my death stares.

I was also able to find this dotted chiffon ruffle shell at my local Ann Taylor in size XSP (see regular size XS on me here) during the 40% off sale promotion. It comes with a cami that has adjustable straps for the lining but I found the cami to be on the shorter side. I may switch it out for one of my own if I wear it untucked. If you plan to wear it tucked in then the regular size may work since the petite sizes are currently sold out online. I’d say this top runs true to size.

Thanks so much Madie! I think everyone was at the Boston Public Gardens or on Newbury Street. I believe these side streets tend to be less crowded and we usually luck out and find parking around there.
