I actually wanted to order a few more items but I haven’t been to the store in over a week (first world shopaholic problems) so I’ll probably mosey over later today to check out the new arrivals. I hate ordering the wrong size even though you can call customer service to do a free exchange. There’s also the risk of my size selling out for more popular items. I really want to try this relaxed utility jacket which I reviewed here but I’m not sure if I need XXSP or XSP. Hopefully they’ll have one of the sizes in store for me to try on.

LOFT Heart Broken In Shell, size XS regular
I wanted this heart broken in shell for a little while now but the first time I tried to order it I received an email that the item was out of stock so that portion of my order was cancelled. Yesterday I tried on size XS regular and I was tempted to take it home and try to shrink it but I’m so glad I waited because size XSP popped back in stock online. I hope I’ll be able to get this top in my size this time around without any further issues. The little heart are so cute and I didn’t think it was too sheer with a nude bra unlike some other reviews. I also found this top to run true to size. If you’re close to my size then regular XS may work for you especially if you like a longer length and a looser, flowy fit.
LOFT Lace Sleeve Tee, size XS regular
Next up is this lace sleeve tee which I first spotted in one of their online stock images about a month ago. Every time LOFT updated their website with new arrivals I kept checking for this top and it finally popped up last weekend. However, yesterday was the first time I was able to see it in stores. It doesn’t look like much on the hanger due to the boxy cut but it’s worth trying on. I found it to run about one size bigger and I hope that size XXS regular will fit me okay. The lace details at the end of the sleeves are very unique and they were what drew me to this piece the first time I laid eyes on it. I love simple pieces with a touch of interest.
LOFT Drapey Cargo Jacket, size XS regular (also available in light matcha green)
I was curious about the fit of this drapey cargo jacket and I tried it on in XS regular in stores after I had already ordered it online in XSP. It’s a loose, boxy jacket but I found that it drapes well. Given how the regular missy size fits me lengthwise I believe I need XXS regular but I’ll see how XSP fits me before I make up my mind to keep or exchange it for the best fit. I’d say this jacket fits true to size.
LOFT Damask Fluid Tee, size S regular (also available in solid colors)
I was walking around the store yesterday after I was disappointed by the petites selection when I spotted this damask fluid tee styled on the mannequin. The damask print is really unique and pretty in person so there were only a few of these left in the racks. In fact, the smallest size I could find to try on was size S regular. I’d say this top runs true to size but if you’d like a loose flowy fit as shown here then you may prefer to order one size up.
LOFT Slouchy Blouse, size XS regular
I grabbed this slouchy blouse to try on since it reminded me of a Madewell style top. It’s a loose, boxy fit but drapes well and runs true to size to one size smaller. I think the length will depend on your bust as a larger chest may cause this top to fall shorter resulting in more of a cropped length. Size XS was a good length on me but size XXS regular would probably be a better fit (and petites would be way too short and boxy). I have it on my wishlist for now and it’ll look very pretty and chic with some delicate gold tone jewelry.
LOFT Textural Stripe Sweater in soft aqua, size XS regular
I spotted this textural stripe sweater in the clearance racks yesterday and decided to try it on again for size. I’d say that this sweater runs true to size but I didn’t like that it was see through (refer to this picture) so I passed. I typically take XS regular in LOFT sweaters for the longer length as is my usual preference.
LOFT Jetstreak Racerback Tank Dress, size XXSP
For my final LOFT try-on I saw this jetstreak racerback tank dress in the racks of the fitting room and I liked the colorblocking and print so I figured I’d give it a go. I typically take XS/00P in LOFT dresses so I’d say this dress runs one size bigger. The dress was very comfy and it has pockets which is a plus but I don’t like racerback dresses much so I had to pass.

I also quickly popped in to Ann Taylor to see if there was anything worth getting on sale. I spotted this cute flounce hem dress in the sale section but I couldn’t find 0P. Size 2P seemed kind of small so I tried it on and as surprised by how flattering it was since it just skims the body. I think 0P would still be better for me but I have too many dresses so it was probably for the best that I didn’t find anything to bring home with me.
