Update 5/16: Here are reviews and measurements of the two dresses I got from my previous LOFT order.
LOFT Stitched Palm Dress, size XXS regular
Zara Mini City Bag in lime green (item no. 4498/004, review here)

I ordered this stitched palm dress in XXS regular and I’d say it fits true to size. The palm print mesh pattern on the front is gorgeous but I don’t like the linen material in back and that alone makes me think I should return it even though it’s so cute on. Even after a good steaming I couldn’t get out the creases from when they folded the garment for shipping. According to the care tag the garment is dry clean only. The front embroidery is 100% cotton and the mesh tulle is 100% nylon. The back is 55% linen and 45% rayon. The lining is 100% cotton.
Size XXS measurements are as follows:
14.25″ shoulders
33″ bust (measured pit to pit)
34″ waist
38.5″ circumference along the bottom hem
32.5″ total length
LOFT Fringe Trim Shift Dress, size 00
I ordered this fringe trim shift dress in 00 regular after reading a glowing review of it online. It fits a tad looser than the stitched palm dress above. It’s a classy dress perfect for work but since it’s unlined make sure you wear seamless undergarments. I noticed the fabric they used (72% polyester, 27% rayon, 1% spandex, machine wash cold or dry clean) will make any outlines and bumps noticeable. I think 00 regular is too baggy on me so I exchanged it for size 0P.
Size 00 measurements are as follows:
14.5″ shoulders
33″ bust (measured pit to pit)
35″ hips (measured right above the top of the pockets)
39″ circumference along the bottom hem
32.5″ total length
Update 6/1: I received size 0P of the fringe trim shift dress and it fits me much better but I noticed the bottom seems to flares out more. The measurements are as follows:
14″ shoulders
32.5″ bust (measured pit to pit)
34″ hips (measured right above the top of the pockets)
40″ circumference along the bottom hem so it flares out a little bit more than 00 regular
32″ total length

Here are some quick fitting room reviews. Note: You can see more of my real-time fitting room reviews on my Snapchat (username @whatjesswore) since I also tried on three Ann Taylor dresses which I’ll post on the blog another day. I’ve been suffering from really bad hay fever the last two weeks so I’ve been retreating home in misery but luckily today wasn’t too windy. Despite the high pollen count I wasn’t in total discomfort outdoors and I made it to the mall without wanting to claw my eyes out and depleting my meager tissue supply.
Embroidered Babydoll Dress, size 0 (review of sizes 00P, 0P and 00 regular here)

First up I tried on this embroidered babydoll dress in regular size 0. I went to the store today to specifically find this dress and the maxi dress below. I looked at it on the rack and it seemed really wide so I was about to not try it on at all but I really wanted to know if it was see through (it’s not because it’s lined). I’m so glad I tried on because this dress is so cute! Size 0 is roomy on me as you can see from the Snapchat video I saved here but it may fit someone my size but with a larger bust. I like the length of the regular missy size which hits right above my knees and I believe regular 00 will fit me perfectly or I could try 0P too. It has a hidden zipper in the back so it’s easy to put on and take off.
Summer Leaves Maxi Dress, size XSP
I was browsing the new arrivals online when I spotted this summer leaves maxi dress and I hoped that I would be able to find it in store to try on. I’m so glad my local store put it out on the sales floor because this maxi dress is really cute and it fits true to size to a little small. If you have a larger bust I would recommend sizing up to make sure you’re fully covered. See my Snapchat clip here for the movement of this dress. The length is perfect with flats on for someone my height.
Summer Sweater in washed seafoam, size XSP
Textured Stripe Shift Skirt, size 00P
Sara recommended this summer sweater in white and navy stripes and I saw it at my local store in petites in the pretty washed seafoam color so I tried on XSP for size. I’d say this sweater runs true to size. The vneck was personally a bit low for me so I would need to pair it with a cami. I also tried on this pretty textured stripe shirt skirt in 00P since it was the only one on the racks. It was much too tight for me so I struggled a little to zip it up and it’s sitting very high on my waist. I’d say this skirt runs somewhat true to size and/or fits like a 0P in most other brands.
Summer Sweater in washed seafoam, size XSP
Elephant Riviera Shorts with 4 inch inseam, size 00
I was wearing a maxi dress today so I grabbed these elephant riviera shorts to on try with the tops. I usually fit size 00 regular in shorts at LOFT so I’d say it runs true to size. I don’t wear shorts much and prefer dresses and skirts for the summer so I passed on the shorts but the elephant print is adorable. In my previous order I tried the elephant sheer cardigan in XS regular but it was too long (I prefer cropped cardigans for the summer) and I realized I couldn’t pair it with too many things I own so I returned it.
Zigzag Lace Layered Tank, size XXSP
Elephant Riviera Shorts with 4 inch inseam, size 00
This zigzag lace layered tank is another top that Sara recommended to me. It’s really pretty and runs about one size bigger since size XXSP fit me perfectly. I’m not sure how I feel about the shirttail portion being so sheer so I’m still mulling over it but it’s very pretty and also comes in navy which probably wouldn’t have this issue.
Embroidered Boho Blouse, size XXSP
Elephant Riviera Shorts with 4 inch inseam, size 00
This embroidered boho blouse looked really gorgeous with the detail on the shoulders so I tried on XXSP for size since it seemed kind of big. It fits me well except the gathered/elasticized sleeves are pretty tight. I think I have normal size arms (my upper arms have a 9.5″ circumference if that helps). It’s very sheer so it would make a good swim suit coverup or you’ll want to pair it with a cami.
Eyelet Striped Dress, size 00P
I don’t give the sales and clearance section nearly enough love but I spotted this eyelet striped dress in 00P and grabbed it to try on for size. I thought the empire waist hit me too high so I think it’d look best on someone a few inches shorter than me. Otherwise in terms of fit this dress runs a little big since I normally take 0/XSP.
