My favorite sale items also include this Lou & Grey cowl neck tunic (now under $15), the cropped cotton cardigan (pictured above in whisper white and below in morning aqua and now $16), this blossom shell (review here), the stripe and ink dot rib trim tanks seen here (both $15.99), and this lasercut scallop shell (pictured below and now $17.99). The above eyelet dress is from April 2014 as reviewed in this old post. My mom helped me fix the straps last year and I finally wore it to church.
LOFT Netural Rondelle Chain Necklace (sold out)
LOFT Cropped Cotton Cardigan in morning aqua, size XSP (back again for summer 2016 here)
LOFT Lasercut Scallop Shell, size XSP (also see it on Izee, last seen in this post, see size XS regular on me here and size XXSP here)
Banana Republic Skinny Jeans, size 00/24P (runs big so size down)
J.Crew Sloan Cap Toe Pumps (old, similar here)
Ann Taylor Pebbled Signature Crossbody Bag (review here)
Here are my latest try-ons from today LOFT since I took my mom there so we would know which size to order for her online:
I tried on this zigzag layered lace tank again in size XXSP (review here) along with the skinny cropped chinos in Marisa fit in size 00P. The chino pants fit me really well but I’m not sure how much I’d wear chinos so I passed.
Courtney recommended this striped shirttail tank dress recently and I finally got a chance to try on size XXSP and XSP for size. See my snapchat (username @whatjesswore) reviews of both sizes here and here. I would need size XSP since the hips are a bit snug in XXSP and size XSP is a nice flowy but still flattering fit on me. I love that this dress is lined because you don’t have to worry about it being see through. It comes with an optional belt not pictured. It has a shirttail hem so some may feel it’s on the shorter side but size XSP was the perfect length for me as it was a bit longer than XXSP.
Update 6/1: I purchased XSP in store this past Sunday for 50% off and the measurements are as follows:
33″ bust (measured pit to pit)
33″ circumference along the bottom hem before the opening for the shirttail hem
33.25″ total length
Make sure you do the sitting test with this dress. If you have any hips or thighs then this dress may pull a little uncomfortably when you sit down even though it’s loose and flowy when standing.
I tried on this striped summer sweater since the store had it in petites unlike my local store back in Boston. I personally like the washed seafoam colorway (review here) better but it’s a really cute sweater and fits true to size.
LEFT – LOFT Strappy Flare Dress, size XXSP (review here)
RIGHT – J.Crew Factory Striped pleated ponte dress with zip-back, size XXS
Lastly, these two striped dresses are old try-ons but I never shared the on J.Crew Factory Striped pleated ponte dress with zip-back on right. size XXS regular fit me really tight in the rib cage but I loved the thicker ponte material an the fact that it has pockets.
LOFT Relaxed Utility Jacket, size XSP (see it on Sara in the tall version)
LOFT Scallop Cotton Eyelet Top (old from April 2014 as reviewed here)
Banana Republic Indigo Denim Leggings, size 0/25 short (review here)
It can get chilly at night so I brought home my favorite Zara utility jacket and this relaxed utility jacket for visiting my family this week in Philly. Turns out my little sister who is 5’7″ fit size XSP perfectly everywhere so I gave it to her and re-ordered it in size XXSP (see it on me here). As you can see from the above picture the sleeves are 3/4 sleeves on me and the length hits me mid-thigh but the sleeves fit my sister as half sleeves and the length hit right her at the hips so it wasn’t too short since she doesn’t like long jackets.
Thanks for reading!
