 LOFT Crane Swing Back Sweater

LOFT Crane Swing Back Sweater, size XXS regular (review of size XS regular here)
Banana Republic Indigo Denim Legging, size 0/25 short (review here)
Ann Taylor Mini Pebbled Signature Tote (sold out online, review of current version here, review of black version here)
Andre Assous Josie Espadrille Sandals (review here, similar here and here)

I love this crane swing back sweater (solid version here and striped version here) and ordered XXS regular last week after trying on size XS regular in stores (review here). I really love how it looks like two different shirts when viewed from the front and back. See a clip I saved from my Snapchat (username: whatjesswore) here. I’d say this top drapes really well and it fits true to size. The back layer is a bit sheer since it’s a polyester but it wasn’t so sheer that a layering cami was required due to the distraction of the crane print. The back layer is also much longer than the front so if you want it to hit you shorter then give petites a try. Petite sizing is usually 1″ shorter than regular missy sizes. After trying on many sizes to find the best fit, I’ve found that regular to petite size equivalents are roughly as follows:

XXS petite =  N/A
XXS regular = XS petite
XS regular = S petite
S regular = M petite
etc.

I like where size XXS hit me from the front and back view as it covers the rear without too much extra length.

 LOFT Fringe Festival Top

LOFT Fringe Festival Top, size XXSP (review here)
LOFT Cropped Cardigan, size XXSP (review here)
Banana Republic Indigo Denim Legging, size 0/25 short (review here)

I ordered the fringe festival top and cropped cardigan in the XXSP which is the exact size I tried on in store (review of both items here). Upon trying on the fringe festival top again I think that the arm holes are cut a tad small as I felt them digging into my armpit a little bit when I move my arms around. I don’t remember it doing that when I tried the top on in store but I’m not sure if I should size up. Again, the top is on the boxy side when worn alone so I like it paired with the cropped cardigan for a more streamlined look without hiding the cute fringe details. The cropped cardigan is soft and has a lot of stretch so size XXSP fit me really well.

LOFT Ruffled Sweater Tee, size XXS regular

LOFT Ruffled Sweater Tee, size XXS regular
Banana Republic Indigo Denim Legging, size 0/25 short (review here)
Andre Assous Josie Espadrille Sandals (review here, similar here and here)

This ruffled sweater tee is super cute from the front but I think that the hi-lo ruffled hem is less flattering if you have any curves. It ends up looking more like a peplum bustle which you can better see in this clip I saved from my Snapchat. If you missed the mixed media tiered peplum shell (review here) from the spring then you may want to try this ruffled sweater tee as it’s a similar style and bonus that it has sleeves. The material is soft but on the thin side so nude undergarments are a must. You can clearly see the white tag in the picture to the right but you can’t really see my nude bra. I’d say this top fits true to size.
