I got this printed romper from Ann Taylor during the amazing sale I shared in this previous post. At the time, it came down to $28.35 and the additional 10% off offset some of the shipping fee so I was able to order exactly what I wanted without trying to figure out how to meet their $175 minimum for free shipping. Size XXS regular fits me perfectly and the romper runs true to size but I thought the neckline was a bit low so I plan on adding a hidden snap button. For now I paired it with a statement necklace that keeps the neckline in place instead of flapping open and exposing my bra. I wore the above outfit to dinner last night with my husband and I grabbed the seersucker jacket (review here) for warmth. For an accidental pairing I was surprised by how well both pieces went together.
I also liked the Eleanor sandals that I received along with the romper but the front straps are slightly too narrow for my feet. I didn’t get a blister from wearing them out yesterday but it wasn’t the most comfortable either. After only one day of wear you could also see my toe and foot prints on the sole of the shoe so I’ll spare you pictures. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of the sandals before I wore them out. As for the sizing, I typically wear size 7-7.5 so if you’re between sizes like me then I would suggest going with the half size. The sole of size 7 fit my foot but I would have liked a little extra space.

LOFT Embroidered Strapless Maxi Dress, size XS regular

I tried on this embroidered strapless maxi dress in XS regular and it fit me really well up top but it was a a few inches too long on me. I searched for petites to try on in the sales racks but there were only regular sizes left. It is layered so it shouldn’t be see through with nude undergarments. I think SP may fit me perfectly fit and lengthwise so I have it in my shopping cart to keep an eye on it in case the price drops further. The dress was $54.99 in stores and an additional 60% off so it is currently $21.99 after discounts while the online price is $35.95 after discounts. I’m tempted to order this dress but it’s final sale online which always
makes me nervous when I haven’t tried on the exact size. I normally don’t care for strapless dresses but this one would look so cute paired with my mint cropped cotton cardigan (review here).
