Styling the Ann Taylor Seersucker Jacket

I quickly stopped by LOFT and Ann Taylor again after visiting the local RMV today since both stores were within close proximity at Haymarket. I’m really glad I did because I came across this seersucker jacket in size 00 regular which is an online only size and therefore an in store return. The jacket fit me perfectly and I’d say it fits true to size. For 60% off (use the code SUMMER60 online) it definitely came home with me tonight. I love the back vent and 3/4 length sleeves which look great both uncuffed to show the button details (on left above) and cuffed (on right above) to show the solid chambray lining. Note that the welt pockets are not functional but that’s a minor demerit. The fabric has a nice stretch to it for easy movement and it’s lightweight and well made.The material is 77% cotton, 20% nylon, 3% spandex and the lining is 100% cotton. Dry clean recommended on the care tag. If you love seersucker then you may also like these shorts and crops.

I came home and couldn’t wait to style the jacket just to make sure it was indeed a versatile new piece in my closet. Pretty much all of my other blazers have gone untouched except for my beloved Forever 21 open-front crepe blazer (sold out, review here). I’m sure I’m not the only one that does this.
Which is your favorite pairing? I paired it with the white scallop riviera shorts as a neutral base but I can see myself wearing this blazer with white and dark bottoms.
