This Lyra Pleat Pleat Skirt (LR304) was my top choice when Fashion Bazaar‘s shop owner asked me to pick a piece to help spread the word about her growing online shop. Fashion Bazaar is a global online fashion destination and the first worldwide retailer representing emerging Thai designers. I love that they’re based in the US and they provide unique, feminine pieces. They offer free standard shipping (note that the items ship directly from each designer), a clear return policy unlike some of those other online shops and you can use the code WHATJESSWORE for an extra 10% off. I hope you find some pieces that will be closet favorites.
I had a lot of fun styling the skirt into three looks that I would actually wear. In fact, I plan on wearing the first look to a party next weekend. I originally asked for size S which measured 24″ at the banded waist and much too small for me to zip up. The shop owner kindly sent me size M which fits perfectly– as a quick size reference, size M has a 26.5″ banded waist and it’s 17.5″ total length. I love the two layers with the pleats on top since this detail makes the piece more unique that the usual white skirt. The skirt isn’t see through which is a huge plus in my book. Note that the pleated portion of the skirt has an invisible hem so I would be very careful how you wash it. I plan on putting mine in a intimates bag so it doesn’t snag on anything.

I plan on doing an updated review of the Maison Jules Tiered Scallop-Trim Tank Top in all of the colors I ordered. Please check out my current review here. I also have some updated Ann Taylor reviews in the works so stay tuned for more to come later this weekend. LOFT has some cute finds on sale if you click through the pages but this latest sale isn’t much to write home about. I’ve been tracking their almost daily changes in sales promotions since the end of May on this page in case you’re remotely curious. My LOFT hoarding closet is starting to resemble one of their stores so I’ve been trying my best to buy/order only when it’s 50% off or better after discounts.
Thanks for reading!
