Maison Jules Tiered Scallop-Trim Tank Top in lemon print, size XS (available in solid colors here)
As I mentioned in this previous post, I ordered this adorable scallop trim tank top by Maison Jules in the lemon print as well as the white, blue and yellow colors. I only received the lemon print and yellow colors so far. My initial thought was how boxy they both looked when I opened the packages. I was doubtful whether they would fit but they drape pretty well on me. I would definitely recommend the lemon print (also available as a dress staring in size XXS) if you had to choose just one but I can’t wait to get the rest of my order so I can decide which colors are keepers. Today I paired the top with my favorite cotton cropped cardigan from LOFT in the strawberry ice color but I originally paired it with the mint (morning aqua) color.
Double layered
Size XS measurements are as follows:
35″ bust (measured pit to pit)
44″ circumference along the bottom hem
23″ total length
If you’re really petite and smaller than me (refer to my measurements here) then I wouldn’t recommend this top as it will be much too loose unless you take it in. When I bend over I have to be mindful so as not to flash my bra due to the more open U shaped neckline. The arm holes fit me well so I don’t have to worry about my bra showing from the sides (I had to return the J.Crew Factory lace-front tank top in XSP for this reason). I love that they’re double layered so the top isn’t see through and the back has a pretty scallop keyhole opening.
