I bought this lace tee from LOFT the other day and I wore it to work on Friday. It’s currently 40% off with the code SHAREIT. Please see my previous posts here and here for my fitting room reviews of some of their latest new arrivals. I got off work early due to summer hours and I stopped by my local outlets including Banana Republic Factory on the way home. I came across this bouclé moto jacket which was on sale for 60% off in store and my husband really loved it so I decided to bring it home. It’s currently on sale online for $59.99 here.
The jacket is a hi-lo style so it’s longer in the front and shorter in the back and the zippers for the sleeves and pockets are functional. It’s lined and mid-weight so it should be the perfect layering piece into early fall. I’d say the jacket fits true to size. I also tried on 2P but the shoulders were a bit too wide for me making the jacket look boxy while 0P fits me perfectly. Please check out this picture I posted to Instagram for another view of this jacket from the sides.
For those who do not have a Banana Republic Factory nearby, size 0P measurements are as follows:
33″ bust (measured pit to pit with the jacket zipped)
31″ waist (measured with the jacket zipped)
22.5″ front length
18.75″ back length
22.25″ sleeve length
12″ upper arm circumference* for the sleeves
*Due to the thicker material the sleeves and shoulders may feel tighter for some.
I ordered this sleeveless midi dress from Old Navy with my latest order for their jeans since this dress reminded me of the Lou & Grey crinkle maxi dress. The Lou & Grey version sold out in petites rather quickly so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try the Old Navy version and I’m glad I took a chance because this dress is really comfortable and flattering on. The shoulder straps do cut in more than I prefer but I wore my cropped linen cotton denim jacket over it today. I’d say that this dress fits true to size and the measurements of XSP are as follows:
34″ bust (measured pit to pit)
26″ empire waist (the waist is very stretchy)
13.75″ total length for the empire top
32″ skirt length
24″ skirt length on the sides
45.75″ total length
I stopped by Ann Taylor to see which new arrivals I could cross off of my growing fall wishlist for LOFT and Ann Taylor. I wanted the paisley shift dress when I saw it online and noted that the color was less washed out than their stock image. The store I visited didn’t have this dress in petites for me to try on but I wanted to share the true color of this top in the picture below.
The polka dot Ann cardigan is more oatmeal colored than cream. Refer to this picture here. The floral garland dress is made of a thicker, structured material but the print is exactly as pictured online. At Banana Republic I saw this textured knit boyfriend jacket on display and the indigo color is my favorite. They only had regular missy sizes so I hope I can find it in petites to try on another day.
