I finally received my last LOFT order but I ended up only keeping this acorn utility blouse, a cute pair of acorn print crew socks and the striped long sleeve tee (review below). For this latest sale I wasn’t going to order anything but then I ordered a few pairs of the popular mid indigo wash of the modern super skinny jeans when sizes popped back in stock and the Lou & Grey specklestripe zip tunic. I managed to place my order during the cross over period when it was an additional 10% off at check out because it was Tuesday and also 40% off.

Here is what size XSP of the acorn utility blouse looks like on me. The sleeves are a bit short on me but I decided to keep size XSP since I liked the length and relaxed fit. I tried to fasten the button tab sleeves but I prefer wearing it as long sleeves. Button tab sleeves tend to come undone on me anyway.
Ann Taylor Red Statement Coat, size XXS regular
I stopped by my local Ann Taylor on my way home tonight and scored this red statement coat on sale and in size XXS regular which fit me perfectly. The sleeves are a bracelet length on me. See the back view here. It’s just the right fit even when I move around but I found that I couldn’t layer thicker sweaters under it because the cut/fit is meant for a thin sweater/top. Refer to this picture here where I was wearing my cobblestone moto jacket underneath. The coat was 60% off tonight so it came down to $80. It’s not warm enough for the New England winter but it’s a beautiful coat for the fall and spring.

LOFT Striped Long Sleeve Tee, size S regular (review of size M here, similar here)
I ordered size S of the striped long sleeve tee after trying on size M in store (review here). See my video of the fit here. I like how this tee is long enough to cover the crotch and backside and it flows nicely away from the body without being overly clingy.
LOFT Lace Paneled Sweater, size S regular
I had high hopes for this lace paneled sweater and size S regular popped back in stock in the grey color when I ordered it. Unfortunately it’s too fitted at the hips so it’s not very flattering on me as you can see from the side view. It’s also on the thin side and prone to showing instead of hiding unwanted bumps. It’s a shame because the lace sleeve details are gorgeous.
LOFT Feather Ruffle Shoulder Top, size XSP
I tried on this feather ruffle shoulder top tonight and I really liked it but I’ve spent way too much recently so I decided to hold off on this until a later, better sale. Size XSP is a nice flowy fit and not boxy or too short on me. The front has two notches at the hem as you can see from the front and side view but they’re very flattering.
LOFT Spotted Shirred Skirt, size 00 regular
Lastly, I tried on this pretty spotted shirred skirt in size 00 regular. Measurements of size 00 regular are 27″ waist (measured straight across width wise) and 18.5″ length. The waistband actually dips a bit like a small crescent instead of being cut straight across so it’s probably closer to 29-30″ if I had to guess. It’s a gorgeous skirt and I recommend sizing down.

I was adding new items to my Poshmark closet (sign up with code HPHAO for a $5 credit) when I found this old H&M jacket. I bought it years ago but I’m not sure why I barely wore it and forgot about it. I guess I have too many jackets and coats but now it will be in rotation with my other outerwear. I was also going to list a few other items but I tried them on again and decided to hold on to a few of them for a while longer. There are many items I still love and can’t bear to part with but they just don’t fit me the same way since I’ve gained a few inches in my waist over the years.
