Here are some updated fitting room reviews for any late night shoppers:

LOFT Admiral's Peacoat, size XSP

LOFT Admiral’s Peacoat, size XSP

Ann Taylor Modern Super Skinny Jeans in deco wash, size 0P (review here, similar wash here as reviewed here)

I originally had this admiral’s peacoat on my wishlist but I wasn’t a fan of the large gold buttons they used so I crossed this off my wishlist for now. This jacket is a classic cut so you should be able to find different buttons on Etsy or your local fabric or craft store if you want to attempt this DIY. I tried on size XSP which fits true to size. The sleeves are 22″ long in this size. It’s a mid-weight jacket perfect for transitional seasons.

LOFT Illusion Shift Skirt, size 0 regular

LOFT Admiral’s Peacoat, size XSP

LOFT Illusion Shift Skirt, size 0 regular (review of size 00 regular here)

LOFT Lacy Vintage Broken In Tee, size XS regular (runs true to size but white is sheer)

Banana Republic Gingko Leaf Necklace (similar here

I updated my review on this illusion shift skirt from yesterday so please note that size 00 regular runs smaller than usual LOFT sizing while size 0 regular runs true to LOFT sizing which means that it runs one size bigger. Size 00 regular measured 24″ at the waist while size 0 regular jumps to 26″ at the waist which is usually size 2 in numeric sizes. Size 0 regular was too roomy and loose all over on me so this skirt will be a no-go for me.

LOFT Side Shirred Dress, size XSP

LOFT Side Shirred Dress, size XSP

This side shirred dress is very soft and drapes well but it’s a bit too form fitting for me. I tried on size XSP I’d say it runs true to size but since I have a 27″ natural waist I’m sucking in my tummy here. Size XSP should fit as expected if you have a 25-26″ waist. I didn’t get a chance to try on SP for comparison since there was only a few of these dresses left in the petites section.

LOFT Blossom Flounce Dress, size 0P

LOFT Blossom Flounce Dress, size 0P

This blossom flounce dress is a fun print (you see it styled by Miriam here) but size 0P has a 30″ waist so it was very wide on me. I would suggest going down at least one size. Size 0P’s hem hit me right above the knee caps and the fabric isn’t see through and flows nicely.

LOFT Floral Lace Shell, size XSP

LOFT Floral Lace Shell, size XSP

This floral lace shell in XSP fits true to size. As you can see it’s a boxy fit but it still manages to look cute and it isn’t too short in petites but I would probably prefer size XXS regular for the extra length. The floral lace is a true white and very pretty and well made in person.

LOFT Marled Open Cardigan, size XSP

LOFT Marled Open Cardigan, size XSP

LOFT Lace Bib Poet Blouse, size XS regular (review here)

Sorel Joan of Arctic Wedge Boot in cafe (last seen here, similar color in kettle)

I tried on this marled open cardigan in XSP but I discovered it was very long and oversized. If you love long cardigans definitely size down for this one. The sleeves were a bit long so I folded them up. There is a large v shaped notch in the middle of the back hem of this cardigan which I was not a fan of. I also tried on the lace bib poet blouse (review here) again today and since I was wearing a layering cami today it accentuated the boxiness when I wore it untucked. Lastly, I wore out my new modern super skinny jeans from Ann Taylor (review here) and I’m happy to report that they kept their shape but the true test is how they fit after I wash them.

LOFT Scallop Lace Dress, size 00P

LOFT Scallop Lace Dress, size 00P (sold out online, review of 0P here, review of both 00 regular and 2 regular here)

I tried on this scallop lace dress in 00P since I spotted it in the racks on final sale and then I remembered that the empire waist is too high and uncomfortable in petites. It’s sold out online but I’ve seen various sizes in the clearance racks in stores. Refer to my review of 0P here and my review of both 00 regular and 2 regular here). My search for the perfect LBD continues.

LOFT Essential Trench, size 00P

LOFT Essential Trench, size 00P  (review here)

LOFT Illusion Shift Skirt, size 0 regular (review of size 00 regular here)

Today I tried on both the essential trench from LOFT (above) and the chateau trench from J.Crew (below) again. They’re completely different styles but which one would you pick? Is it wrong to want both? 🙂 I thought the essential trench was too big on me in 00P but the one I tried on at this store had the creases steamed out so it actually looks so much nicer in today’s photos when belted.

J.Crew Chateau Trench Coat, size 0 regular

J.Crew Chateau Trench Coat, size 0 regular (review of size 00 regular and 0 regular here)

BP. Fringe Trim Infinity Scarf (similar here)

LOFT Shimmer Textured Sweater, size S regular (review here, last seen here)

Ann Taylor Modern Super Skinny Jeans in deco wash, size 0P (review here, similar wash here as reviewed here)

Sorel Joan of Arctic Wedge Boot in cafe (last seen here, similar color in kettle)

Louis Vuitton Lumineuse PM in Infini
