I tried on the blossom flare dress pictured above in 00P since it looked like it ran slightly big on the hanger. The waist was a bit snug on me and when I checked with the small tape measure I carry around it measured 26″ (I have a 27″ waist). I already put back on my clothes so I was too lazy to try on 0P for sizing but when I compared the waist of size 0P with 00P it looked like it was 1″ wider. I’ll probably try it on another time. Note that each dress is unique due to the placement of the floral print. I would recommend trying on a few dresses of the same size to decide which one you like more. This was my favorite dress I tried on although I was looking for the eyelet flare dress which was not available at the store I visited.

Ann Taylor Piped Doubleweave Sheath Dress, size 00P
LOFT Dangling Crystal Ribbon Necklace (last seen here)
I spotted this gorgeous piped doubleweave sheath dress in blue iris and again I sized down and tried on size 00P since it runs big. It’s also available in bright golf green and rosebud blush. This dress skims in all the right places but from certain angles it made me look like I have a belly pooch so I begrudgingly passed on this dress. The length hit the middle of my kneecaps and it’s a very flattering length for work and play (refer to this picture here).

Ann Taylor Striped Wrap Blouse, size XSP
Ann Taylor Textured Club Jacket in winter white, size 0P
Ann Taylor Modern Super Skinny Ankle Jeans in carnival wash, size 00 regular (last seen here)
Skagen Crystal Striped Mesh Bracelet Watch (sold out, review here, similar here)
I received a request to try on this textured club jacket which I’ve seen in stores but passed on multiple times since their jackets tend to run big and boxy. However, once I put it on I was surprised by how well it fit and I’d say it fits true to size. I tried on both the winter white and pearl sand color options in size 0P. I also tried on size 00P which was really tight and snug on me as you can see here. I also loved this striped wrap blouse which I tried on in size XSP and I’d say it runs true to size. The v-neck is a bit low for my taste but the hidden snap button can probably be moved up half an inch for more coverage. Both the blazer and blouse are on my wishlist for now since they’re not included in the current sales promotion.

Ann Taylor Signature Large Tote (review here)
J.Crew Elsie Pumps With Enamel Heel in kraft brown (review here, similar here and here)
Here is how the large signature tote looks like on me. The bag appears bigger since it’s slightly taller this season. Personally I’ve been looking for small crossbody bag and this turnlock saddle bag is a decent option on sale. Speaking of crossbody bags, I need to get my vintage Gucci bag relined (it’s suffering from flaking on the inside) and I’m also coveting this Cortlandt crossbody bag from Henri Bendel (if you sign up for emails you get a 20% off welcome code).
I also tried on the Charlie patent bow pumps and found that I need them in size 7 even though I sometimes take size 7.5 in pointy heels. There is a slight gap in the back but it wasn’t noticeable. I’m trying to decide if I need both colors but then again I rarely wear my black pumps. I may just order the blush pink color if I can just make up my mind. I’m still bummed I missed out on the Carson suede tassel pumps and I’ve been stalking them periodically online. Update 8/8/16: My favorite bow pumps are now available in a similar style for the fall here and here. The Carson suede tassel pumps are also back for the fall in black and blush pink suede
