I reviewed this ruffle hem sweater end of February and I decided to try it on again in both MP and small regular below. I ended up ordering it in white in size S regular since I think the blush color washes me out. This top runs true to size but I sized up for a more relaxed fit and I’m so glad they brought it back again this spring. This top is currently $29.50 and no code needed!

I wanted this signature drawstring moto jacket in the light heather grey color pictured above but it was only available in the dark grey (charcoal) color in petites. I tried it on in XS regular but I didn’t really care for how it draped on me so I was able to cross this jacket off my wishlist. It runs true to size but the sleeves are really long and it looked very unflattering on me when zipped up. I still prefer my old shawl jacket from two years ago anyway (similar here)
LOFT Polka Dot Peplum Blouse, size XXSP
I saw this adorable polka dot peplum blouse reviewed by Annie and I tired on size XXSP for size. It fits me everywhere except the neckline is so wide that it doesn’t cover my bra straps properly. I’d say it runs 1-2 sizes big and fits like the ruffle hem sweater I reviewed above in size MP.
LOFT Mixed Stripe Swing Dress, size XSP
I loved this mixed stripe swing dress when I first spotted it online so I was excited to try this on in store. I tried on both XSP and SP here for comparison and I liked the fit of size XSP best since it looks best a few inches above my knees. I’d say this dress runs true to size. The material is thin like the short sleeve trapeze dress I reviewed here which I purchased in size SP. Ann Taylor has somewhat similar striped dress here as well as a thicker striped sweater dress (review here) in case you’re looking for something less clingy and more structured.

My insta friend Jenna shared me this blog post where I first saw a sneak peek of this meadow floral trapeze dress. I saw it in store in one of my recent visits so of course I had to try it on for size. Unfortunately the regular missy sizing was so generous it ended up looking like a laughable hospital sized gown on me. I hope this dress will be offered in petites so I can give it another try. Size XS regular feels like it runs one to two sizes bigger. The overall length is on the long side hitting the middle of my kneecaps (for reference I’m 5′ 2 1/2″).

How cute is this laser cut floral overlay dress? The fit is an improvement from the similar scalloped crop illusion dress from last year which I had reviewed here. This dot smocked high waist skirt is really comfy and cute. I’m not into skirts much but this one caught my eye since it’s black and white polka dots. I tried on size 00 regular for size and it was a comfortable fit and work appropriate length. The skirt is lined so it’s not see through. I’d say this skirt runs true to size and the elastic waist will accommodate larger waists as well without adding any bulk in the middle. LOFT Denim Leggings in Vivid Dark Indigo Wash, size 0/25P (review here)
This ruffle henley shell is really cute with the feminine ruffles on the sleeves and it runs true to LOFT sizing. My usual size XSP fit me really well all over but I thought it looked rectangular on me (refer to the left picture up top). Update 4/19: I tried on XS regular this past weekend and I like the flowy fit a lot more in the regular missy sizing. Size XS was a bit loose on me so I can’t wait for this striped version to be available online so that I can snag it in my size (XXS regular). The stripe version of the top is new to stores but it should be available online soon.

I thought the bell sleeve top was really cute but it was a little 70’s for me so I passed. Size XS regular fit me really well and I’d say it runs true to size. The cotton material isn’t too thin for once so the quality is nicer than most LOFT t-shirts which can be on the tissue thin.

This spotted ruffle sleeve tee was originally on my wishlist since it looked super cute on the model in their online stock image. However, it was wide and boxy on me when I tried on size XS regular. This top will look really flattering on certain body types so I would recommend trying it on in case it works out for you. It runs true to size but the length may be a tad short for those of average height.

I love white blazers so I don’t know what took me so long to try on this textured collarless blazer. Size 0 regular was a good length on me but the sleeves were a few inches too long and the shoulders were also too wide on me by half an inch on both sides (for reference I have 14″ shoulders). Otherwise this jacket should run true to size for most. I would probably need this in size 00 regular since the petite overall length would be a cropped length on me but for now I’ve ordered this drapey jacket from The Limited.
LOFT Relaxed Skinny Denim Shorts in Vintage Dark Indigo, size 24/00 regular
I got these relaxed skinny denim shorts in vintage dark indigo after trying them on in stores when they were 30% off. I redeemed my $15 birthday coupon as well since I could only use it in store. Size 24/00 regular fits loose at the waist which runs big at 30″ but since the denim is structured it fit me well especially everywhere else. The leg openings weren’t too wide and gaping on me which is my usual problem with some shorts since my thighs don’t always fill them out. These shorts were an impulse purchase since I don’t usually shop in store and I don’t wear shorts as often now that I’m over 30. Shorts always makes me feel like too much of my legs are exposed and I prefer the coverage that flowy dresses and skirts provide a lot more for when I’m trying to stay cool in the summer.

I don’t typically reach for pencil skirts anymore since they don’t really flatter my figure or lack thereof however I tried on this circle lace skirt in size 00 regular. Size 00 regular has a 26.5″ waistband. Unfortunately he white color is see through since I was able to see the outline of my dark top through the lining.

I just received this soft and flattering Lou & Grey open jacket in size XS regular and I love how it drapes. Note that it is shorter in the back than the front which is why I originally passed on it but after seeing it on Kileen I decided to give it another chance. She also took it in the same size as me. The sleeves are long so I like to push them up as well. It’s also available in solid grey here.

This mixed media pocket shell fits true to size and it’s more flattering and form fitting than the ruffle henley shell I reviewed above. The vneck isn’t too low and keeps you decent. This will be a great piece for layering and this style is also available in other prints here, here and here. This top is currently $20 and no code needed.
LOFT Meadow Floral Shirred Utility Blouse, size XXSP
This meadow floral shirred utility blouse is adorable and I tried it on in size XXSP which fit me in the torso but it would probably look best in my usual size XSP for a more flowy and relaxed fit. The button tab sleeves were a bit too short and snug on my arms. I decided it’s a bit too boho chic for me so I’m passing on this blouse. It’s also slightly sheer/thin so skin tone undergarments are recommended.

Lastly, this fringe shift dress is another popular item they brought back from last year. I love this navy color since it’s not see through unlike last year’s version which came in ivory. Size 0P fit me really well and runs true to size but I may have to try it in 00 regular to see if I like it more with the extra overall length. It’s a chic take on a 60’s mod dress.
