Ann Taylor Lace Shift Dress in lady oxford, size 0P (last seen here in my post from July 2015)
I stopped by the store the other day to see if there was any new arrivals in stores and I spotted this lace shift dress. The color is a pretty periwinkle blue but the cut and and fit is the same as the dress I reviewed last July here. I’d say this dress runs a bit loose in your usual Ann Taylor sizing and may require a belt to give it more shape. Refer to this clip I saved from my snapchat (username: whatjesswore) here for another look at how this dress fits.
Ann Taylor Belted Dot Dress, size XXSP
I also tried on this belted dot dress and size XXSP fits generously. The length hit me mid kneecap and this XXSP fits more like a 0 or 2 regular rather than petites. The bust darts were misplaced on me so if you have a small chest then this dress will not work unless you size down. The arm holes are also cut very large. I really wish this dress had pockets. The dress has an a-line shape when unbelted and it wasn’t too see through if you wear nude undergarments.

I loved the color of this pintucked swing dress and since there was no petites at my local store I tried on XS regular which actually fit me really well lengthwise. I’d say this dress fits true to size. The length hit just above my knees but the arm holes are generous so you could see my bra from the sides if I moved around. I’m not sure if XXS regular would solve my particular issue with the arm holes but this dress is so light and airy it feels like you’re wearing nothing. I was also searching for pockets to put my hands in but there were none to be found. This dress would be really cute with a cropped denim jacket and a necklace.

I wanted this pointelle striped top when I spotted it online but it’s a bit sheer in white. It fits true to size and the length of regular missy is perfect – not too short/boxy. If you don’t mind layering with a cami for the white color then this is a really cute top that also comes in coral and navy as well.
LOFT Soft Vintage Soft Tee in dainty pink shadow, size XS regular
I was killing time before dinner on Friday night and I popped by LOFT and tried on this soft vintage tee. Size XS regular fits true to size but the dainty pink shadow isn’t the soft pink I thought it was but it’s still really cute. I like these vintage tees since the neckline is more modest than a low v-neck. I have both the dotted version and the striped version from last year (review here, last seen here) in XS regular.
LOFT Embroidered Floral Vintage Soft Shell, size XS regular (see it on Megan)
I also tried on this embroidered floral vintage shell and I noticed one of the sales associates also had it on. It’s true to size but the arm holes are generous so a cardigan and/or layering cami is required or people will see a your bra from the sides. It is slightly sheer and you can see a closeup of the embroidery detail here.
The Limited Nautical Striped Anorak, size XXSP

I ordered a few items from The Limited as mentioned in my blog post on April 13th I but never got around to reviewing them or returning what didn’t work out yet. I quickly reviewed them on my snapchat today and I figured I’d update my blog as well in case anyone was interested in these items. This nautical striped anorak is really cute (refer to this picture as well) and I ordered it in XXSP but I found that it fit me really snug in the hips through the thighs when I zip it up. The sleeves are also a bit too short for my arms since I prefer 24″ sleeves. You can also refer to this clip here for another look at the fit on me. It’s a thin jacket that’s perfect for chilly summer nights when you need an extra layer.

The asymmetrical drape front cardigan is back once again. This style was part of the popular Scandal collection which you can see on me in this old blog post as well as this post. Size XSP fits me true to size. I hardly dry clean anymore and opt for machine friendly clothes but I really love the look of this cardigan. I’ll have to remember not to try to wash it myself since that’s how I ruined my other one. Refer to this clip for another look of how it fits.
The Limited Soft Open Front Blazer, size XSP
I was looking for a drapey white jacket and I ordered this soft open blazer in size XSP but it fits large. I’d say it fits like regular XS or even regular small. It just looked like too much material from me from the side view and the sleeves are really wide. Refer to this clip for another view of how size XSP fits on me.
