I wish I waited for this latest sale to go live but size XXS regular was out of stock for the striped ruffle trim henley shell (review of size XS regular here) that I wanted by the time I was able to get a break to check on the sale this morning. Therefore, I’m glad I placed an order during the flash sale in order to secure my preferred size. I was also able to snap up the striped ankle tie espadrilles at 40% off since they’re back to full price today. On the other hand, I could have gotten an extra top/item if I waited until today with the extra 25% off and forgo the espadrilles for a future order.
Hopefully everything works out since I redeemed my $40 rewards with my order. My LOFT bill for this month is the most I’ve ever spent so I’ll try to be under budget in May. I blame the bigger balance on all the good sales at Ann Taylor this month. This season they came out with some really unique pieces and the extra coupon codes certainly helped to enable one too many purchases. I usually shop almost exclusively at LOFT and it helps that it’s also more wallet friendly.
FYI. My favorite white jeans from Gap are now 40% off with the code HAPPY. Thanks to Jenna for the heads up on this sale since I rarely shop at Gap. I was able to snap up another pair. You can see them on me here and I provided the measurements of size 25 petite in this post. This past weekend I tried on 25 regular which I noticed has the same waist but it’s a better length for me. I prefer the option of wearing them as regular jeans or cuffed so that they’re ankle length. The inseam of the petite version is a bit too short for me but looks good with heels. They don’t sag in the rear and thighs even after I wear them all day and the outline of the pockets aren’t see through due to the skin tone pocket lining.
