Ann Taylor Textured Dot Sweater, size S regular
I wanted to try on this textured dot sweater the other day when I saw it on the tables but I was too lazy to go back to the fitting room. Well I finally tried it on yesterday and size S regular fits me really well. I find that Ann Taylor’s sweaters run small and boxy so I usually size up and take regular missy sizing for the overall extra length. The half sleeves are really cute and not too tight on my arms in this size. I have longer arms so the regular missy size will look more like 3/4 sleeves on most petites.

Ann Taylor Collarless Camp Popover, size XS regular
Next up is this collarless camp popover which looked like the perfect, effortless blouse when I saw it online. I tried on size XS regular to gauge the sizing and I’m pretty sure I need my usual size XXS regular for the best fit. I’d say this top runs true to size and the sleeves are nice and loose. The material is sheer so a layering cami is required.

Ann Taylor Dot Cluster Henley Shell, size SP
I saw a bunch of ladies buying this top in multiple prints at checkout so I tried it on for sizing out of curiosity. I couldn’t find size XSP in this print so I tried on size SP and it still looks great. I’d say this top fits true to size but should your size sell out going up a size isn’t a big deal. The dots look like cherry blossoms in this print but I think this color washes me out.

Ann Taylor Lace Shift Dress, size 00 regular (review of size 0P here, similar reviewed here)
I was browsing the sales rack when I came across this lace shift dress in 00 regular. I dashed to the fitting room to try it on but my immediate gut feeling was that the dress was too long. Unfortunately my preferred size and color has since sold out. The white is slightly see through so nude garments are required and/or a slip skirt or slip dress. This silhouette is also now available in a similar style which I reviewed here.

Ann Taylor Lacy Flare Dress, size 0P
This lacy flare dress looked amazing on one of the store associates so I tried it on for size. Unfortunately size 0P wasn’t a polished fit on me and there are bumps on the side where the material bunches. Perhaps size 2P would drape better on me but I’ll save that for another time if I come back to this dress. Refer to my review of the similar top here.

Ann Taylor Floral Jacquard Sheath Dress, size 00P
Lastly, this fabric for this floral jacquard dress looked really pretty in person and size 00P looked like it might fit me so I tried it on for run. This dress has a lot of fit issues. The arm holes are really narrow and dig into my arm pits, the chest is small which is good for me because the v-neck wasn’t too low but the bottom of the dress has too much extra material. The dress looks like a mess when you sit down and I wouldn’t recommend it unless you pay to alter it to fit better.
