I reviewed this Caslon draped utility jacket in this blog post. I only ordered grey ebony since it was the color that popped back in my size. Size XSP fits me really well but the sleeves aren’t tapered so they are best worn pushed up. Size XSP has 14″ shoulders and measures 28″ at the longest point/length in the front and 24.5″ long in the back which is shorter. Update 7/13/18: The draped collar can be very overwhelming if you have a smaller
chest. I ended up returning the size XSP since I never
reached for the jacket due to the larger lapels.

Hinge ‘Cora’ Block Heel Sandal (review here)
I ordered these Hinge ‘Cora’ block heel sandals recommended by Megan @thedarlingbrunette in all three colors to try but I only ended up keeping the chestnut suede color. I found it to be the best color against my skin tone and the easiest color to pair with white and dark denim as well as my some of my dresses to transition into the fall. They fit true to size for me but some may find that they run half a size bigger. You can see all three colors on me here, here and here. I saved these clips from my snapchat (username: whatjesswore). Update 8/22: I ended up returning the chestnut color as well because I found the 3 3/4″ heel height to be a too high for every day wear. They are also admittedly a bit more trendy so I didn’t think I would reach for them as much.

I have the large Le Pliage Neo tote for work and travel but it’s very old and getting worn so I ordered the expandable Le Pliage during the #NSale which is the exact same size. Personally I think it looks very odd (long) when it’s unzipped. I’ll probably only wear it zipped which is the equivalent of the large size Le Pliage. Update 8/22: After much debate I returned the expandable tote because I just don’t like how the zipper looks. I prefer the classic large Le Pliage which is right around the same price point ($145).
I finally managed to order the sold out Diptyque scented candle set ($55) late last night when it popped back in stock. I have the Gardenia scent in the large 6.2 oz size and I received a 1.2 oz Figuier scent as part of a gift with purchase at one of their NYC shops a few years ago. I like the light scent they give off even when you don’t use them. I opened the set and together all five scents combined really freshen up the bedroom where I left them. FYI. This set has been popping back in stock so I’ve been tempted to order more as presents.

Lastly, I’ve been eyeing these Sole Society Gillian sandals for quite some time and I finally decided to order them despite some of the negative reviews regarding the fit. I took my usual size 7 and I can tie the straps tighter and not lose circulation to my feet. The top strap does go right across my fourth toe but it doesn’t feel uncomfortable due to the soft straps. I could have probably gone down half a size but I wasn’t sure if I would find the strap placement to be bothersome across my pinky toe and fourth toe. I love how these sandals pair perfectly with a lot of my outfits and I wish I had tried them sooner.
