Happy Wednesday! I wore this exact outfit a few times since you can never go wrong with classic black and white. I’m hoping to get a few more wears out of my white jeans after Labor Day before I put them away. No white after Labor Day doesn’t really apply anymore and I love crisp white jeans versus dark denim to keep things fresh.

Furla Nikole Satchel in Daino – $179.99 at Saks Off 5th
Coach Bunny Charm (old)
Speaking of fall, I picked up this new Nikole satchel by Furla from Saks Off 5th. It’s also available in a larger size which is sold out. It was available via Nordstrom Rack at some point for a better price but I paid $179.99 for mine and the bag originally retailed for $398. As with all off-discount retailers this bag is an older style and it’s sold out online everywhere I checked although the exact one I bought just popped back in stock. My local Saks Off 5th had a shelf full of them in a few other fall ready colors including classic black. I snagged the last one in taupe. When I last went checked there were only a few left. I also love this small leather satchel in mint and this mini Julie crossbody available in many colors here and here. Some of their styles remind me of Ferragamo bags like this one.
I’m always on the hunt for neutral shoes and I came across these nude Kelda bow pumps by Nine West but size 6.5 was too snug and size 7 was too loose on me. In case you’re interested in trying them out they’re also available at Nordstrom, 6PM.com and Ninewest.

Abound Sloane Flats (LEFT)
Restricted Song Scalloped Flats (RIGHT)
I recently purchased these nude pink Sloane flats by Abound and these Song scalloped flats by Restricted (available at Marshalls for only $19.99). I love the non-slip sole on both flats and the cute scalloped details on the tan colored flats. I took both styles in my usual size 7. The scalloped flats do run a half size bigger and a bit wide so I could have gone down half a size.

Qupid FC08 Booties are also known as Qupid Nixon-40 (also available via Amazon and Sears)
I spotted these Qupid booties at Marshalls and they remind me of my favorite Vince Camuto Franell western booties (review here) but for much less. Refer to this clip I saved from my snapchat (username: whatjesswore) here. You can see another view of the dip in the front here. Booties that dip in the front are very flattering for petites to create the illusion of longer legs.

LOFT Striped Peplum Tee, size XS regular
LOFT Denim Leggings in Vivid Indigo Wash, size 24/00P
Sole Society Gillian Gladiator Sandal
I was looking for this striped peplum tee to try as soon as I saw it online. Danielle who is the store manager of my local LOFT was so sweet and helpful to locate it from the back for me to try on last week. This top runs about one size bigger and it’s long in the sleeves and overall length. I believe I need this top in XSP so that the sleeves aren’t too snug. It’s made of a thicker material so it’s a good weight for the fall.
I also tried on the new denim leggings with all the tops below and I love the vivid indigo wash. This pair runs big so I was able to fit size 24/00P. The ankles are not narrow which is what I look for in skinny jeans but I like how they look cuffed once.

LOFT Split Neck Tunic Shell, size XSP
This split neck tunic shell is a pretty powder pink but it is see through so a layering cami is required. Size XSP fit me well and I’d say it runs true to size.

LOFT Speckled Sweater, size XS regular
This speckled sweater is the long sleeve version of the speckled sweater tank which I have in XS regular (review here). The fit and sizing is similar and this top has a loose, cropped fit so I would stick to the regular missy sizing if you want to give this a try.

LOFT Woven Pleat Shell, size XS regular
Danielle showed me a few of her current favorites including this woven pleat shell which fits true to size. I loved the fit of this top so much since the draping is very flattering. Unfortunately the back lining is rayon which always makes me nervous when it comes to washing and caring for a LOFT item although I did recently discover that you can steam out most rayon items after it is dried to bring it back to it’s original shape. It’s current available in stores only and it was also available in red in store.

Lou & Grey Crossover Terry Moto Jacket, size XS regular
LOFT Paw Print Tie Neck Dress, size XSP (review here, last seen here, also available as a top)
Danielle also shared this Lou & Grey crossover terry moto jacket and it is so soft! Size XS regular was very wide on me so I’d say this jacket runs at least one size bigger. If you have a small chest like me then you may find the lapels to be too large and overpowering. The long sleeves fit me well so they’re probably around 23-24″. I wish this jacket came in petites and my preferred size XXS sold out online already.

LOFT Textured Sweater Tank, size XS regular
This textured sweater tank as a nice texture to it and the material is thick so it’s a perfect fall layer underneath a cute cardigan or jacket. This top run short and the arm holes are a bit generous otherwise size XS regular fits true to size.

LOFT Peplum Utility Blouse, size XS regular (also available in cherry print)
LOFT Modern Skinny Jeans in Dark Indigo Wash, size 26/2P
This peplum utility blouse fits similar to the popular peplum henley shell from the summer and it’s also available in a cute cherry print. The long sleeves to run really long so they look better cuffed otherwise this blouse runs true to size. I tried on size XS regular but I need size XXS regular or XS petite. Hopefully this blouse will be available in more colors and prints.

LOFT Hydrangea Ruffled Top, size XS regular (review of size SP here)
I tried on this pretty hydrangea ruffled top again since I adore the color and print but size XS regular was too loose on me. I believe I need this top in size XXS regular which is sold out online.

LOFT Modern Skinny Jeans in Dark Indigo Wash, size 26/2P
LOFT’s fall denim lineup is my favorite and these modern skinny jeans would be a great addition to any denim lover’s closet. The petite inseam is on point and these run more true to size than the denim leggings I reviewed above.
MY FIRST STITCH FIX

I received my first Stitch Fix last week and even though I only kept one item I ordered another “Fix” right afterwards. I used my co-worker’s referral link so I got $25 off the jeans I kept. Please consider using my referral link if you’re interested in trying out their services.
You receive five items per Fix and below are the items I received:

My first Fix included basic pieces with the exception of the Rodax jersey print dress by Collective Concepts. The loud print is not me at all and when I tried it on size XS was too tight. The dress was very thin since it’s unlined and I personally didn’t feel that it was worth $68. The Colibri solid tab sleeve blouse by 41 Hawthorn wasn’t anything particularly special since it’s just a tunic length polyester blouse. Size XS fit me okay but it was underwhelming and not worth keeping for $48. The Careen v-neck dolman knit top by Market & Spruce was really cute but the arms were a bit snug on me. I thought it was priced at $48 which is a bit high unless I kept all 5 items in order to get the 25% off discount.

Each fix comes with style cards to help provide styling inspiration for your new items.

Price List by Item
When I was filling out my style profile I selected “the cheaper, the better” so it was interesting to see the price range of the items I received ($28-$88).

Romolo Munroe Feather Pendant Necklace – $28
The Munroe feather pendant necklace by Romolo was pretty but I didn’t love it enough to keep it. I thought the retail price of the necklace was fair at $28.

Kut From The Kloth Dayna Skinny Jean (Stitch Fix exclusive, similar here) – $88
These Dayna skinny jeans by Kut From The Kloth were my favorite item from my first Fix and the only item I kept. I received size 0 short (OS) and the fit, stretch, inseam and dark rinse are on point. If I had to nitpick then I wish the ankles were a tad narrower to better elongate my short legs but they look really flattering on as you can see here. The waistband is perfectly stretchy so you will not get a muffin top unless you size down too much. When you check out and decide which items you want to keep you have the option of exchanging an item for a different size. I wish they also gave you the option to request more quantities since I like to stock up on jeans that fit well. Note that this exact pair of jeans appears to be a sold out style in case you try to request it in your next Fix. For my next Fix, I noticed that they’re sending me the Denna Skinny Jean which are also by Kut From The Kloth.
