I love the textured polka dots on this flounce sleeve blouse recommended by Su. I usually chat about Ann Taylor and LOFT new arrivals with her and I had to have it when she highlighted this color. I ordered size XSP but it does run very wide/blousy so I would suggest going down a size. I’m debating whether or not to order XXSP but I love the sleeve length and overall length of XSP. It’s also slightly sheer so a layering cami is required.
I also ordered the butterfly pleated flounce top in XXS regular and the smocked ruffle collar blouse in granite lavender in size XXS regular. I went in store yesterday to check out more of the new arrivals and brought home the sedona rose color as well since someone returned size XXS regular. I don’t need both colors so I’m trying to decide which one to keep.

Ann Taylor Pleated Flounce Top in glimmering lavender, size XSP
I love the beautiful lavender color of this pleated flounce top. I have this top in the butterfly print as mentioned above in size XXS regular and I prefer to slightly longer overall length. I am trying on size XSP here which fits true to size. Refer to this boomerang clip for another view of size XSP on me.
Ann Taylor Leafy Tiered Lantern Sleeve Blouse, size XS regular
I saw an associate wearing this bell sleeve top and it looked amazing on her so I had to try it on for size. I’d say this top runs 1-2 sizes bigger and I believe I need it in size XXSP for the best fit. Refer to this boomerang clip to get a sense of how long and wide the sleeves are. It’s also available in a sleeveless version here (new in 4/24/17).
Ann Taylor Smocked Ruffle Collar Blouse in sedona rose, size XXS regular
I spotted this online only smocked blouse returned in store in my size yesterday so I had to try on the lovely coral color. I couldn’t let this one get away so I brought it home with me while I decide which color to keep. It doesn’t come in petites but since I have longer arms the sleeves fit me well. I’d say this top fits true to size to one size bigger. You may want to size down for a better fit and I wish it came in petites.

Ann Taylor Modern Skinny Ankle Jeans, size 25/0P
I’m so happy that Ann Taylor brought back my favorite white skinny ankle jeans this season. They fit true to size (I took my usual
size 25/0P) and the petite inseam is spot on hitting right above my
ankle bone. The leg opening is narrow which helps to elongate my
short legs. The fabric they used is also a good weight so they are not
too thin and see through. I am obsessed with wearing white jeans all the time in the spring and summer so I will have to stock up on these when they go on even further discount.
Ann Taylor Wool Cashmere Lace Up Sweater, size XS regular
I still haven’t given into the lace up sweater trend yet but this new arrival by Ann Taylor is beautiful. Su asked me if I could try it on and I found that XS regular has a shorter overall length making it very petite friendly. The laces stay in place when you pull them to close the v-neck. I noticed that it contains 5% wool but it didn’t feel itchy for the few minutes I had it on. This sweater is very soft and well made and I would recommend it if you’ve been wanting to try out this fashion trend.
Ann Taylor Butterfly Pleated Flounce Top, size XSP As I mentioned above, I have this butterfly print blouse in size XXS regular and it fits true to size but I tried on size XSP (pictured above) and SP for comparison (see it on me here). I really like the unique butterfly scribble print. The material is not too sheer so a layering cami is optional.
Ann Taylor Tree Wide Cuffed Blouse, size XSP
The tree print on this blouse is adorable and it fits true to size but I don’t like the swatch of skin that is exposed where the cuff buttons. I really wish the keyhole opening there was smaller. Here is a closeup of the adorable tree print.
Ann Taylor Modern Skinny Ankle Jeans in Marina Wash, size 25/0P
I love these modern skinny ankle jeans and the marina wash is a beautiful, classic medium wash. Similar to the version that’s back in white these jeans are very similar to the super skinny deco wash jeans (review here) I was obsessed with last year before I wore them to death. I still wear the carnival wash from last year all the time and am surprised by how well they have fared but then again I wear all three pairs in rotation. The petite inseam of this new wash is perfect and the ankle opening is pretty narrow compared to many other brands and styles I’ve tried on. The denim material they used for this wash is soft, stretchy and comfortable even more so than the white color.
Ann Taylor Modern Skinny Jeans in Artesian Wash, size 25/0P
I actually grabbed these modern skinny jeans by accident since I thought I grabbed the modern skinny ankle jeans to try on. The modern skinny jeans have a classic, straight and slimming pant leg throughout which is very flattering with heels. The petite inseam is a bit long for me so I would probably wear them cuffed with flats. Here is what they look like cuffed once on me. These jeans fit true to size and I can see why they are a favorite per the online reviews.
