LOFT Striped Crossover Hem Sweater, size XS regular
Gap Jeans (old, similar here, here, here and here)
Converse Shoreline Sneaker (runs about 1/2 size bigger, similar here)

I got this sweater in the mail on Friday but in my impatience I went in store to try it on before I went home. Size XS regular fits true to size and I love the unique crossover hem. The light blue and off white stripes are really cute too. It’s a thin sweater but not sheer. The sleeves were a bit long on me so I’ll be wearing them pushed up most of the time. It’s also available in grey here.

LOFT Two Tone Puff Sleeve Dress, size 2P

This dress is perfect for work and it fits true to size. Size 2P was a bit loose on me but my usual size 0P was sold out at the store I went to. It’s a thicker weight so it will be perfect for fall. I love the slight gathered puff sleeve detail which doesn’t make my shoulders look wider.

LOFT Textured Open Cardigan, size XSP
LOFT Denim Leggings in Vivid Indigo Wash, size 24/00P (old, similar here)

I recently ordered this hoodie jacket but this black open cardigan is a close contender. The 3/4 sleeves are comfortable, not too tight so perfect for layering. It’s a thicker material so it can substitute as a light jacket for early fall. I also love that it has pockets which you can see here. Update 9/14: I wore this cardigan out twice so far as a light jacket. The sleeves to stretch out a bit where you bend your arms. The sleeves are loose which is perfect for layering but you may want to size down if you prefer more fitted sleeves. Update 10/30: I reordered this cardigan in size XXSP but I was surprised to find that it fits exactly like size XSP. I plan on giving this cardigan to my little sister who is 5’7″ since it’s a bit big on me.

LOFT Lace Cuff Tee, size XXSP (see size XSP on me here and reviewed here)
As mentioned in my previous post, I found that this top stretches out a bit with wear so I wanted to try on size XXSP for comparison. I found the smaller size in store but the sleeves and shoulders are bit too narrow and snug on me for my comfort. I’ll stick to size XSP for now but I may let go of it soon as I edit and cull my closet for fall.

LOFT Chambray Flounce Cold Shoulder Shirt, size XXSP

LOFT posted this chambray top on their feed a few weeks ago and I noticed that everyone went head over heels for this top. It runs true to size for a relaxed fit through the hips and waist. I tried on size XXSP but it was too narrow across my chest when I move my arms around so I’m sure my usual size XSP would be the best fit. The fabric has no stretch where the flounce is but the material is soft and comfortable.

LOFT Gingham Tie Split Bell Sleeve Top, size XXSP

This gingham top looked really cute online but I’m glad I didn’t order it because it runs really big. Even size XXSP is still very generous on me. I would suggest going down at least one size. The long bell sleeves are a bit too much for me and I am sized out of this top so I had to pass for both reasons.

LOFT Dot Tie Cuff Sweater, size XS regular

I wanted to see this sweater so Su had kindly tried it on for me a week ago. I was finally able to try on size XS regular myself and it fits true to size. I passed on this sweater since it’s very thin and likely to get holes rather quickly. I can’t see this sweater lasting the season but it is very cute.
I also tried on this smocked yoke swing dress in size XXSP but it fit like a oversized hospital gown. Click here to view the clip from my try-on. I would suggest going down one to two sizes if you’re interested in this dress since the fit is very generous.

LOFT Shoulder Button Blouse, size XXS regular (also available in marigold)
Click here to view the clip from my try-on
My favorite top that arrived in the mail last week is the shoulder button blouse. I took size XXS regular (this is a correction since I mistakenly mentioned that I took size XXSP before) which fits loosely but it has a flattering drape. The sleeves are long and the top runs big and long in the overall length so if you usually take regular missy sizes you may want to try ordering it in your usual size but in petites for a better fit. I want to exchange mine for size XXSP if possible but it’s currently sold out online. The color is a lovely dark olive. I love the functional button detail on the shoulders.
I also ordered this mosaic lace smocked cuff blouse in size XXS regular but it was very long (tunic length) on me. The puffy sleeves were too much for my petite frame and I’m bummed it doesn’t come in petites since the lace is very pretty. Click here to view the clip from my try-on. This striped ruffle trim blouse was another item that was too big on me (see size XXS regular on me) and not available in petites. It fits similar to the shoulder ruffle blouse and modern peasant blouse from previous seasons. I would go down at least one size for a better fit. You’ll also notice the flecks of metallic thread in the stripes which I didn’t see when ordering online since I wasn’t looking too closely.

LOFT Outlet Ribbed Sweater Vest, size XS regular (item no. 436132)
I wanted to end this post with a special thanks to Jen for leaving a comment in my previous post to tell me about this coveted sweater vest. I headed to my local outlet store that same day because the oatmeal color got lost in transit last winter when I tried to reorder it size XS. Size S was a bit too big on me and I gifted it to a sweet insta-friend. This vest looks exactly like last year’s version and it’s back at LOFT Outlet and available in both oatmeal and grey. It’s $59.99 and 40% off this Labor Day weekend making it $35.99. It’s not itchy at all and the care tag shows that it’s made of 59% cotton, 35% acrylic, 10% polyester and 1% spandex.
Update 9/5: My insta-friend May informed me the vest is available in petites so I ended up exchanging size XS for XXSP (see it here on my dress form).
Update 1/12/19: This sweater vest is back at LOFT Outlet in regular and petite sizes!
