Happy hump day! I’m currently spending time with my family in the Philly area. Every time I go on vacation I always try to pack less which involves planning what I want to wear. I also usually end up sending a few of my online orders to my parents’ place since I’m impatient and I like to open up my packages as soon as possible. I finally received the shoulder button blouse (review here) which I exchanged for size XXSP and it fits so much better.

LOFT Modern Slit Fresh Cut Skinny Jeans in Vivid Dark Indigo Wash, size 25/0P (review here)
Gucci Abbey Shopper Tote (old from 2007)
Converse Shoreline Sneaker (runs true to size)
I recently received this A-Bag Plus reversible bag (large size) in gray/ivory gifted from Palla Handbags. Use code @WHATJESSWORE on their website for 15% off your purchase . Their bags are made of 100% leather and stitches and ship from the United States. Select styles are also available on Amazon but note that my discount code only works on their direct website. I was hesitant to work with this brand since I couldn’t find any online reviews. I was drawn to their timeless and minimalist styles which remind me of Hermes. I’ll do a more thorough review of this bag in a future post so please let me know if you have any questions. I brought my new bag along with me on vacation so I could test it out this week. I’ve worn it with the ivory color (pictured above) and the mocha gray color (pictured below) which I love for the fall.

LOFT Herringbone Knit Blazer, size 0P
I love this blazer but when I tried it on I thought I had given away all my LOFT cash cards so I didn’t buy it and had to leave it behind. It runs true to size and petites (I tried on my usual size 0P) has a 22.5″ sleeve length.
LOFT Tie Cuff Two In One Top, size XS regular
I was about to checkout inline yesterday when I spotted this new tops. They were being folded on the table so I grabbed size XS to try on for size and I love how it fits but I would have preferred my usual size XXS regualar which sold out. The material and sizing for this top fits similar to this swing tee I wore during my LOFT Instagram takeover. It’s a thin material up top so I was surprised that the tie cuffs and shirttail hem draped well. I found that it runs true to size and the length is longer so it provides the right amount of coverage in the front and backside which I prefer. Update 10/1: I wore and laundered this top and the bottom portion does get a bit wrinkly so you will have to steam/iron it. If you’re a lazy person you may not like this extra care step.
I love the soft neutral color of this sweater so I tried it on for size and I found that it fits true to size. I took size XS regular for a relaxed but flattering fit. It contains 25% wool in it but I didn’t find it to be too itchy.
LOFT Striped Cowl Tunic, size XSP
This sweater fits similar to my favorite Lou & Grey mariner stripe tunic from 2014. Size XSP is a loose but comfortable fit and I love the longer tunic length. The sleeves may be a bit snug so I didn’t try to size down to size XXSP.
LOFT Flowerbud Button Sleeve Dress, size XXSP

The flowerbud print on this dress is gorgeous but the petite size is very short hitting higher than mid-thigh (for reference I’m 5′ 2.5″). The dress also has a very swingy so I tried on size XXSP which fit like a loose size XSP. If you love this print it’s also available as a cardigan here.
LOFT Lacy Ruffle Blouse, size XS regular
Su asked me to try on this lacy ruffle blouse so I tried on size XS regular for sizing. It is a very wide top with lots of excess fabric but it does drape well. I would recommend going down at least one size for the best fit. The fabric is slightly sheer so a layering shell may be required.
LOFT Leggings in Sateen Five Pocket in Marisa Fit in autumn sage, size 26/2P
Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I loved these sateen leggings and they’re back again this fall. Last year I took size 27/4P (review here) but they do tend to stretch out with wear at the knees and butt. I also tried to size 26/2P (review here) last year they were too snug throughout the legs. This year’s version runs about one size smaller for LOFT sizing so I would suggest going up a size from your usual size for LOFT bottoms. Definitely check them out in stores if possible. They also switched out the shade of olive they used this year so this year’s sage green color is more flattering without looking like elf leggings.

I’ve seen these trendy ball drop earrings on all the bloggers but I’ve never tried them before since they’re typically three tiers or longer. I love the two tiers and silver/metallic color so I ordered these earrings to try and I was surprised that I liked them on me. The size is not too overwhelming. FYI. There have been many times I’ve seen these earrings at other retailers such as Nordstrom and the thread wrapped balls were unraveled due to poor construction. The Baublebar earrings I’ve spotted tend to show gaps where the thread isn’t tightly wrapped so you can see what appears like cardboard underneath. Even LOFT Outlet is selling these on trend ball drop earrings but some of the earrings were unraveled due to poor construction.
Speaking of poor construction I returned these ball hoop earrings since mine arrived damaged in one earring due to shipping in a poly mailer bag. They’re too delicate and don’t stay closed in the latch despite my efforts to bend the damaged earring back into shape. I would recommend the similar Ann Taylor version instead.
I ordered these drop earrings since the filigree pattern reminds me of my favorite pair of earrings. I love the beveled edges which remind me of a coin but I didn’t love this style on me so I’ll likely return them. For a size comparison click here to see them next to my favorite filigree earrings.
I love the neutral stones and adjustable length on this necklace which pick up the color of the tops you wear. I consider it a statement piece despite it’s smaller size since it has just the right amount of sparkle.
Lastly, I was honestly not going to keep this hoodie since it isn’t the best fit on me. However, when I went to put it together with my bag of returns I noticed two tiny stains on the back shoulder that I had no idea where they came from. I ended up keeping it and it also looked much better after I steamed out the wrinkles. It has a a very wide fit with lots of excess fabric especially in the back but it’s still cute and comfortable for casual wear. If you’re very thin and petite I wouldn’t recommend this hoodie due to the excess fabric on the sides.
