I don’t accessorize much so shoes are very important for looking put together. Also, did you catch my previous spring shoe review from last week?

Did you catch the latest LOFT new arrivals?

I ordered this new ruffle cuff jacket in size XXS regular and I used code FEB419CC for $50 off orders of $100+ which I shared in this post. The code is valid on full-price promotional items but it excludes Lou & Grey styles. You can apply this code on top of select full-price styles that are currently $25 off and ‘no code needed’ such as pants and jeans today. You can also use this tip to get FREE shipping on orders of $50+ (old post so please ignore the sale alert in the post)! Cardmembers can use code LOFT15 for an extra $15 off $50+ and it works on top of the sale items that are currently an extra 50% off. Note: You can only use one code at checkout.

If you’re into Parisian style then you may want to check out this chic Uniqlo spring collection by Ines de La Fressange. Shop my picks here:

I received these closed toe wedges the other night and only select sizes are currently available since they’re on sale for $53.96. I’m sure some people will return them if you keep an eye out for your size. I love the blush pair more than the grey pair and they run true to size for me. I prefer how they look with the straps crossed over in the front but the straps are shorter so I was only able to successfully tie a single loop instead of a a full bow in the back. The suede straps help to keep the ties in place instead of slipping/sliding apart. They’re very comfortable with no areas that would to rub at my feet and cause blisters.

Should I keep both colors? Which color would you keep?

In November I found one pair of these Sam Edelman Berit sandals in my usual size 7. The footbed runs a bit short on me and I would prefer going up half a size for the extra length. I’m past the 90 day return policy but hopefully Nordstrom Rack will let me exchange them for the right size. They’re back in stock this season in case you missed out on them last year.

Brae Espadrille Slip-On

Brae Espadrille Slip-On (2017 review here, last seen here)

These espadrilles were very popular last spring and I’m not surprised to see that they’re back  in stock and in a few other colors. They run wide and some suggest going down half a size. I fit size 6.5 but I went with my usual size 7 knowing that my feet will expand in the heat. If you have narrow feet then your heels may slip out of this shoe. As cute as they are I ended up selling mine on Poshmark at the end of the season because they’re too flat for my feet with no arch support. My feet would cramp up whenever I wore them out so I need more support.

I ordered the following shoes to take advantage of this deal.

In full disclosure I never reached for the Sporto duck boots I reviewed here (never wore them out). I decided to return them for store credit since we just don’t have the closet space to store two pairs of boots. I’ve been wearing my Sorels in the snow but this season I only had to wear my Sorels only once this season.

Update 2/24: I received the Realize 2 wedge slip-on  in the mail yesterday.

The normal width fits narrow and stiff on the top of my feet especially my wider, right foot. If you have narrower feet then the normal (M) width should fit you but my right foot measures 4″ across at widest part (balls of the foot) when it is relaxed. Update 3/25: I reordered these in the wide width (review here) for comfort and they fit well. They’re cute and simple for relatively flat espadrilles without the usual fussy bows and ties.

I tried these grey scalloped flats on last week and I found that they run snug so I went up half a size for comfort. They’re very soft and flexible.

Update 2/24: I ordered these wedges in the nude color to try. I found that these run half a size smaller than the Kicker wedges I tried on in size 7 below. Size 7.5 fit like size 7. The nude is a very light pink in person. They have a 1″ platform in front and a 4″ wedge in the back so they feel like 3″ wedges.

Jules recommended these studded ankle strap wedges last year and I missed out on them. I found them to try on in store and fully stocked in all sizes and colors but I didn’t love this style on me. I found the version with the frills to look more flattering. They were slightly too narrow for me feet and they straps cut into the front of my wider foot. They were lightweight and very comfortable despite the high heel height.

These bow sandals are really cute and comfy and they run true to size. Sometimes I am between size 7 and 7.5 but going up half a size wasn’t quite right either. My usual size 7 was a bit too short in the overall length. I passed on these sandals but if you love bows then you may want to give them a try.
