I’m relieved to have another day to relax this long weekend. Click here to view a closeup of the pretty floral applique. This is a beautiful, well-made sweater tee and the night sky is navy in person. Size S was the smallest size I could find in store and I like the relaxed fit but I would have liked to try on size XS for comparison. I found that this sweater fits true to size and the length is long enough to cover the front and back which I prefer. For reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and 107 pounds.

I’ve been on the search for new black jeans and these fit me really well in my usual size 25/0P. Size 25/0P has a 26″ inseam but the ankles are not as tapered as I would prefer. These have a good stretch to them and they feel comfortable.

This winter floral print is really pretty in person and this style is also available in solid colors here. Size XXSP fits like size XSP so I would recommend sizing down.
I wanted to try on this sheath dress but my store did not have this dress in petite sizes.

I love the simplicity of this v-neck tee. Note that the stripes are navy and not black. The v-neck isn’t too low which and the material isn’t too sheer. If you prefer a more modest neckline then you may want to try the crewneck version.

I ordered this circle pendant after seeing it in stores. It’s really cute and a great size but I wasn’t sure how much I would reach for it so I ended up returning it. It also comes in navy. It is adjustable and I am wearing it at the longest length here.
I love reusable totes and at $8 this one is a great price for a well made canvas tote. The size is generous so it should work as a nautical themed beach bag for the summer. Note that this tote is excluded from the current promotion. You can also monogram it as a thoughtful present.

I ordered this jacket after spotting it in a flatlay on Deb’s feed here. I took size XSP and I found that it fits true to size for a relaxed fit. I love the slight bell sleeves and I didn’t find then to be too full or overwhelming. This jacket is currently on sale for $47.40 and it’s also offered in navy.

I don’t need another cropped trench but I couldn’t resist ordering this one to try even though it’s not on sale. I found that size XXSP fits like size XSP. I like the back storm flap but I don’t like the fact that you can’t close the trench since it’s meant to be worn open. It has a cropped and boxy fit and it is unlined. I measured the shoulders at 14″ and the sleeves at 22″ for size XXSP. I didn’t love the fit on me over my dresses (it’s cropped and an awkward length and boxy fit on me over dresses) so I ended up returning it. I felt that the collar was a big too big and overpowering on my small frame.

I’ve been searching for the perfect striped layering tee and this one is a really great basic. It’s not see through and the overall length is longer so it covers the front and backside which I prefer. I want to try this in XSP or SP for a slightly shorter overall length. Size XS regular fit me well for a relaxed fit through the body but I noticed the sleeves were a bit snug on my forearms.

I’ve been searching for a good pair of distressed denim but these are definitely more distressed than what I’m looking for. This particular style is very petite friendly due to the cropped length. You can see a closeup of the raw hem here. I’m used to LOFT jeans which tend to lift the rear for a more flattering fit on the backside.

I’ve been eyeing this trench and I found size XS regular to try on in store. It has a slightly boxy and petite friendly fit but the ~23″ sleeves may be longer for some petites but they work for me since I have longer arms. The trench is unlined but the material isn’t too thin so it drapes well. I wish the belt was longer because it’s difficult to tie a cute bow. I wasn’t a fan of the material (it may be prone to pilling over time) but the trench looks better on than on the hanger. The mint color looks like a light sage green in person.

This coated anorak is a cute casual jacket and I found that it fits true to size. I’m not huge on logos so I wish the Abercrombie label wasn’t sewn on the outside and visible in plain view. The hood is generous in case you need cover from the rain but it’s not waterproof. The drawstring in the back hem of the jacket is a nice detail.
I tried on these Harper style ankle jeans to get an idea of the fit and length. These are a petite friendly inseam if you’re around my height (I’m 5′ 2.5″) then the regular length will fit like regular jeans with no hemming. This ripped dark wash is again too distressed for my preference.

I liked this split back sweater which is now on clearance for $29. It’s open in the back so you will need to wear a layering cami. The sweater is very comfortable and I love the casual, relaxed fit of size S but I could probably fit size XS too.

The short inseam for these Harper low-rise ankle jeans were barely 24″ which is much too short for me as you can see from the picture on right. I ordered this style in the white colorway in size 25 short and 25 regular but unlike the black pair the white jeans do not lift the rear for a more flattering fit on the backside. The white material they used was also not supportive through the thighs so there is a lot of unwanted bunching on the backside and across my thighs. Note that the black is also prone to attracting lint.
This lace cami is highly recommended by a few bloggers I follow but the first one I tried on in store fell apart at the strap. I am wary of the quality and the white color is very sheer (it’s also offered in other colors). The length is shorter making it great for layering without peeking out from under your other tops.

Lastly, I ordered this scalloped top as a filler item when I ordered the white Harper ankle jeans but I really like this top for the summer. It would look really cute over swim suits. It is slightly sheer but not see through with a nude bra. If you want more coverage from the eyelet cutouts then you may prefer to wear a base layer. It has a shorter overall length and petite friendly fit. If you have a larger chest you may want to consider going up a size. I noticed that the material is 100% viscose so I am wary of machine washing it.
