Happy Sunday Monday. I shot this look as a backup outfit a few weeks ago. This sheath dress (review here) can be dressed up or down and it’s perfect for many occasions from work to weddings. It does get a bit wrinkled when you sit down as you can see from the photos but I don’t think it detracts from the simple look of the dress.

I tried on these new white jeans with the tie hem detail in my usual size 25/0P above. I also tried on size 24/00P yesterday to compare. Click here to see size 24/00P on me. Size 24/00P has a 27″ waist and size 25/0P has a 28″ waist. Both pairs have a 23″ petite inseam. If you like the ankle tie detail it’s also available in another wash here. Note that the pockets are a bit see through but I usually wear longer tops so I don’t mind.

I wanted to love this striped blouse but size XXSP was still too loose on me. I would suggest going down a size in this top for the best fit. It is also very fussy to tie the bow perfectly to cover the  gathered elastic waist.

This chambray skirt caught my eye. The front flap is properly secured so there is no possibility have a wardrobe malfunction. Size 00P fits like size 0P and it has a 26″ waist and 19″ total length.

I love white jackets and I tried on size XS regular and size XS petite to compare. I believe I would need this jacket in my usual size XXS regular for the extra length. I found that the petite size is too short and boxy but it is a petite friendly length if you’re shorter than me or if you prefer a more cropped fit. I’m not sure that I love the ruffle detail since I would prefer a classic white denim jacket.

I love the look of this scalloped belt with white jeans for some added interest at the waist.

Lastly, I know that some of my fellow petites may be waiting for me to review the Old Navy girl’s jeans but unfortunately I as sent a completely different pair (0 long in curvy fit). They credited my account and told me to keep the jeans. I want to reorder them but there’s no guarantee that they would send me the right pair. The other pair I ordered I also returned but the material wasn’t see through, it was very comfy and stretchy and the inseam was perfect (they fit like regular length jeans) in my usual size 25 petite. However, I prefer a more smoother look across my back thighs which is why I returned them. If you look at the back view of the online stock image I have the same issue as the model only the lines across my back thighs appear to be much worse on me.
