I found this adorable bow strap top at LOFT Outlet last weekend and it was on sale so I scooped up both the navy and coral colors to try on at home. If only it came in white too! The top retails for $44.99 and last weekend it was 40% off plus an extra 10% off for cardmembers for the month of June. I also asked the associate about when the LOFT Outlet website would be launching and she mentioned June 18th or 19th. Keep an eye out this weekend if you want to pick up this top but don’t have a store near you. I’ll be on the lookout as well since I’m curious to see the new website and what they offer online in terms of sizing. LOFT Outlet and the regular LOFT stores do not carry the same products. LOFT Outlet often repeats past season favorites in the same or different prints.

I love this white pleated skirt which is fully lined so that it’s not see through. It’s also a petite friendly length. I have a 27″ waist and size S fit me okay but I wish I could try on size XS for comparison. I do wish this skirt had a flat waistband like this Wilfred Terre skirt from Aritzia which would have been more flattering contrast against the pleats.

I love the blue dots on this polka dot strappy dress (review here) but the top portion above the empire waist has an awkward fit as seen here so I prefer wearing a jacket over the dress. This soft swingy tee is one of my favorite items from last week’s order. My usual size XXS regular fit me well. It is also available in black. Also my search for similar white jeans led me to this high waist Topshop pair which I got in the mail yesterday. I ordered size 26 petite with a 28 inseam but the ankle length inseam measured 23″ with a 26″ waist and 9.5″ rise. The ankle opening is narrow at 8.5″. I’ll try to update photos later of the new pair as I’m currently still favoring and wearing an old favorite pair from Gap in the photos below. The Topshop pair’s front pockets are see through and the fabric has a stretch to it. I went up one size to 26 petite which is a snug fit on me. I usually take size 25/0P in LOFT denim and for size reference I’m 5’2.5″ and I’m back to my usual weight of 108 pounds.

This striped skirt is another one of my favorite items from last week’s online order. Size 00P fits like size 0P since it has a 27.5″ waist. It is lined so it’s not see through. I ended up liking this skirt more than the button front skirt I reviewed at the bottom of this post. I also received size XXSP of this ruffle shell which I sized down hoping for smaller arm holes but I still have the same issue as size XSP which I reviewed here.

I gravitate towards basic pairings and I also like my new skirt paired with this sweater tank and stretchy denim jacket.

I as hoping this tee would work out but it didn’t come in petites and unfortunately the overall length of size XXS regular is too long for me. The tops is also slightly sheer so you can make out the outline of my nude bra and the waistband of my white jeans. This tee has a looser fit so you may want to size down if you prefer a closer fit.

I thought the sleeves and ties on the sleeves were a cute idea but this sweater is much too long on me in size XXS regular and it’s not offered in petites. It is very fitted through the hips so you may want to size up if you don’t want the bumps from your button fly to show. I have a 27″ waist and 33″ hips.

I noticed that this sweater tank was flying off the tables in store so I wasn’t able to try it on in size XS regular. My usual size XXS regular was too long and the bottom portion hugs your midsection which is not a flattering look on me. I would have preferred the petite sizing for a shorter and possibly more flattering fit. The material for this sweater tank is thicker so it added bulk at the waist and hips when I tried to tuck it into a skirt. I was personally limited to wearing it over pants and shorts so I returned it for now versus trying to reorder it in petites. If I happen to see it in petite sizing in stores then I’ll give it another try.

LOFT Striped Button Down A-Line Skirt, size 0P (review of size 0 regular here and here)
Steven by Steve Madden Abilee Pump (true to size, very similar style linked here)
Click here to view a continuation of the above clip. I ordered this skirt in size 0P in this skirt after trying on size 0 regular in store. Size 0 petite has a 27″ waist and it’s 24.5″ long in the front and 25″ long in the back. Unfortunately size 0P doesn’t have enough material to flow and drape as nicely over my 33″ hips as the regular missy size. Size 00 regular is currently sold out and I probably shouldn’t settle for size 0 regular which was slightly loose in the waist.
In other news, I updated my thredUP Closet Clean Out post I just noticed that thredUP updated the items they took from my bag with pictures. Click here to see all of the items they accepted and listed. The chambray jacket (review here) I sent in was due to the fact that I ended up buying it in another size.

I also received this layering cami in white and black in size XSP and it fits perfectly. It’s the best petite length cami I own with adjustable straps. Special thanks to my fellow petite friend Ly for sharing. I had previously ordered the cami in size SP in nude (see it on me in this post) and white but sizing up was a mistake because it too loose fitting on my smaller chest and it would move around a lot even when I adjusted the straps to the shortest length.
Happy Shopping!
