I wore these two outfits to work this week and I had posted a third outfit over on my Insta Shop. I always get a lot of questions when I wear the above jacket which is old from LOFT. Jacket season is my favorite and I am eyeing this new drawstring utility jacket but I was really hoping for at least 50% off before I placed another online order. This plum sateen utility jacket (review here) is another great option for the fall to add a pop of color. They recently came out with a new collarless quilted puffer jacket but it’s only available in regular missy.

I spotted a few new arrivals in stores today! None of these items were available in petites and they didn’t look like they would fit me in regular missy. I only reviewed the Lou & Grey cardigan below. These items are not yet available for purchase online so don’t worry since they’re definitely not sold out.

This bluebird dress is really cute but the petite length is very short for my preference. I’m 5′ 2.5″. Size XXSP fit me but the arm holes were a bit snug. I haven’t been able to find size XSP to try on for comparison.

This polka dot jumpsuit is so cute but since I don’t have hips the extra fabric at the hips looked like extra wide clown pants on me. I did like the inseam of the regular missy size XS but the straps were too long on me. The bust is very fitted on my smaller chest even though the back has a smocked detail which should accommodate some stretch. I’ve seen some ladies that used the #loveloft hashtag wear this jumpsuit but the buttons looked like they may burst especially on those that were more well endowed. The top portion of the jumpsuit is also very short waisted. I haven’t found this jumpsuit to try in petites but I may order it to try since this jumpsuit looks so good on a lot of people. I am usually size XS petite so I might order that size to try. Hopefully the chest won’t be too snug in my usual LOFT size.

I tried on this swingy dress today and the cowl neck is very flattering while also adding interest. The material is very soft and I like that the dress also has pockets. I’ll probably order size XXS regular to see if it’s a better fit but I didn’t mind the oversized look of size XS regular on me.

This dress has a very relaxed fit so size XS regular was shapeless on me. The material is soft but thinner than the cowl neck dress above this one.

If you love layering in the fall and winter then you will want to pick up this boyfriend cardigan in a few colors. Size XS regular was a relaxed fit on me. I cuffed the sleeves since they were a slightly longer.

Lastly, this oversized Lou & Grey cardigan is so cute and it’s not itchy since it’s 60% cotton and 40% acrylic. It retails for $79.50. It’s actually new in stores first so it’s not yet available for purchase online so don’t worry it’s not sold out. Size XS regular was too big and falling off my shoulders so I hope it will be available in size XXS regular once it’s available online. It looks so perfect paired with the below new denim dress that’s another new item you can shop in-stores first. If you don’t see something on the sales floor it never hurts to ask if they can check out back for you.

I ended up ordering a few items since I couldn’t locate them for pick up in store. Update 8/29: I checked the tracking numbers and I’ll get both of my flash sale orders on Friday which is before we leave for vacation this weekend!
