Have you checked out the latest LOFT new arrivals or their gift guide? I picked up these soft faux fur slide slippers (true to size) as seen here in store yesterday for 50% off ($14.75) since they aren't being marked down online for some reason. Here are some other new and notable new arrivals:
FITTING ROOM REVIEWS
For size reference I'm 5' 2.5", currently 108-110 pounds and I'm usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans if an item runs true to LOFT sizing.
LOFT Dotted Shirttail Turtleneck, size SP | LOFT Denim Leggings in Vivid Dark Indigo Wash, size 26/2P (review here) | J.Crew Factory Zoe suede d'Orsay flats (true to size, review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I tried on this top a size up from my usual for a more relaxed fit. It's thin but not too sheer since you can't see the outline of my nude bra. It's also available in grey.
This sweater is really pretty and flattering. They only had size XXSP left which fit like a close fitting size XSP. I really like the heather color pictured above but I wanted to try it in size XSP first before deciding which fit I like better.
LOFT Striped Puff Sleeve Blouse, size XXSP (review of size XSP here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This top reminds me of another blouse I have from last year in black with pink stripes. Size XXSP fits like size XSP but the chest is a bit snug. I was having an issue with static cling in the above picture since it's 100% polyester. It's not too sheer so layering would be optional for me. Update 11/17: I got this blouse in the pretty tulip print after seeing it in store with my mom and I took size XSP for a more comfortable fit.
This tulip print top is similar to ruffled split neck peplum blouse I reviewed here in sizes XXSP and XSP. Unlike the olive color there is something about the print that makes my usual size XSP appear to fit better.
I wanted to review this sweater last week but due to a mix up I got a completely different top as a part of my online order. This is a thinner sweater but it wasn't too sheer on me so a base layer is optional. I found that it runs true to size for a relaxed fit. It doesn't contain any wool so it's not itchy.
I didn't get a chance to include this dotted dress in last week's post but I found that it runs true to size. The measurements of size XSP are: 32" chest (measured pit to pit), 28" waist, 33" total length and 22.5" sleeve length. Unfortunately, I did not like the dress on me since the draping and folds made me look wider at the waist and hips.
The textures on this grey and white scarf look really cute (refer to this clip for a close up).

Ann Taylor Colorblock Open Cardigan, size XSP | Ann Taylor Camp Shirt, size XXSP (fits like size XSP or XXS regular) | Stuart Weitzman Elevated Stretch Over-The-Knee Boots (runs 1/2 size bigger, review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I though this colorblock cardigan was really cute but I'm struggling to find other ways to style it that I love so it may go back. It runs true to size and the sleeves are not too snug which makes them comfortable for layering over long sleeves or a thin sweater.
Ann Taylor Cuffed Turtleneck Sweater, size XXS regular | LOFT Denim Leggings in Vivid Dark Indigo Wash, size 26/2P | Madden Girl Eviita Booties in taupe (true to size) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I ordered this sweater hoping that it would be a shorter length to wear over this pleated flare dress for a monochrome look. Unfortunately it was longer on me than expected so it didn't work with the dress. Note that the dress runs smaller in the black color than the plum color. The dress was a snug fit on me in size 00P but I'm afraid size 0P may be too low cut and loose at the chest.
Ann Taylor Shawl Collar Wrap Coat, size XSP
My usual size XSP fit me well but the petite sleeve length was shorter than I prefer while the extra material at the waist wasn't the very flattering when the coat is belted. Refer to my review of the black shawl collar wrap coat here.
This red dress is a gorgeous option for the holidays but the square neck of size 00P were too loose against my shoulders. I had also tried on my usual size 0P but it was too loose all over. The material is thicker and I like the sleeve length.
These bow pumps are gorgeous and they ran true to size. Unlike the other online reviewer the middle bow strap lays against the top of my feet so that there is no noticeable gap.
I had also ordered these Lorelai crystal wow leather flats to try but they run half a size bigger.
Ann Taylor Ramona Flannel Scalloped Pumps (true to size) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I've been wanting these scalloped flats for a while and I finally ordered these to try. I found that they run true to size. I didn't love them as much as I thought I would and they didn't match a lot of my jeans so I ended up returning them.
I have an upcoming sponsored post with Ann Taylor so I ordered some items to try on at home so that I could decide which items I wanted to keep as my gifted items. Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to take pictures since I was pressed for time packing and getting last minute things done before vacation.
I liked these stretchy denim jeggings which come in black and a dark wash and they appear to run true to size. I haven't had a chance to wear them to see how well they hold up throughout the day. This lace trim top is really pretty in the chalky rose color, it wasn't see through and size XXS regular was a relaxed but flattering fit. I wish it came in other colors such as white or black. I had high hopes for this tweed lace tee but my usual size XXS regular was too close fitting. I ordered this cognac belt in size XS and it fit me on the second to last hole but the one I received was damaged so I had to send it back. I wanted this houndstooth shawl collar wrap coat and my usual size XSP fit me well but the petite sleeve length was shorter than I prefer while the extra material at the waist wasn't the very flattering when the coat is belted. Refer to my review of the black shawl collar wrap coat here.
J.Crew Sophie Open Front Blazer, size XXS | LOFT Lacy Pointelle Sweater, size SP (review here) | LOFT Denim Leggings in Vivid Dark Indigo Wash, size 26/2P (review here) | Lucky Brand Yabba Wedge Bootie in sesame suede (true to size) | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I love the classic colors that are available for this open front sweater blazer. I had originally tried on size XS but the sleeves were too loose. Size XXS regular is a bit better but the sleeves are still loose fitting. I like that you can wear the collar folded down or popped up for slightly different looks. I still need to try on the J.Crew Factory sweater blazer for comparison.
Uniqlo Women Ultra Light Down Hooded Coat, size XS | J.Crew Factory Plaid Pom Pom Scarf (old, I found a similar one on eBay here) | LOFT Denim Leggings in Vivid Dark Indigo Wash, size 26/2P (review here) | J.Crew Factory Zoe suede d'Orsay flats (true to size, review here)
I reviewed the puffier Uniqlo Seamless Down Short Coat in my previous post here but this ultra light version is thinner while having 640 fill power. The material is light, packable and water-repellent. Size XS was a loose fit on me which is perfect for layering. The sleeves are shorter which makes this coat petite friendly. The sleeves are actually slightly shorter than I prefer for a winter coat since I have longer arms than most petites.
This cropped hooded sweatshirt from the girl's section looked really cute so I tried it on and size 14Y+ is a loose comfortable fit.
H&M Short Hooded Sweatshirt, size 14Y+ | H&M Fine-Knit Joggers, size 9-10Y | View the clip from my try-on here
I've been wearing the above combination as a lounge set at home since I got it in store. The joggers are size 9-10Y but they looked loose fitting so I tried them on and I like how they fit. The string tie at the waist is too short so I lost the ends in the waistband but I don't mind since it's covered by the sweatshirt.
