I wore this sweater out shopping today and it was nice and toasty. I didn’t find it sweater to be too itchy either after keeping it on all day.

This sweater reminds me of the popular snowbird sweater from last year (review here). This year’s sweater runs very big (37″ chest) and long at 27″ total length as measured for size XXS regular. I would recommend sizing down and I wish it was offered in petites. I wanted to wear it with leggings for a cozy oversized look. You may want to wear a layering cami underneath due to loose open weave above the chest. The material breakdown is 5% alpaca, 85% acrylic, 6% nylon and 4% other fibers but I didn’t find it to be too itchy.

FITTING ROOM REVIEWS
For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″, currently 108-110 pounds and I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans if an item runs true to LOFT sizing. I tried on a few dresses today since I received a request to try on all the dresses and these were the ones I found in my size.
This floral wrap dress is one of the hero pieces in LOFT’s Black Friy-yay Collection as seen on this sign up page. LOFT featured bloggers of different sizes wearing the same dress here and it really looks amazing on different body types. I tried on both size XSP (above) and size XXSP (below) and I found that my usual size XSP fits me best. I’m currently over my budget this month so this dress is on my wish list along with some other items I tried on today.
This red floral print dress is really pretty and it’s the other hero piece from the Black Fri-yay Collection. The v-neck isn’t too low but the overall length is shorter than what I would typically wear. I found that my usual size 0P fits true to size.
LOFT Floral Ruffle Henley Utility Blouse, size XSP | Ann Taylor Modern Skinny Ankle Jeans (old), size 25/0P (similar here) | Madden Girl Eviita Booties in taupe (true to size, review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This floral blouse is another Black Fri-yay piece and it runs true to size for a relaxed fit. My usual size XSP is a bit shorter in petites so I would prefer this in size XXS regular for extra length. The blouse is slightly sheer and I happened to be wearing a layering cami today.
This is such a cute plaid shirtdress and I found that size XXSP fits like size XSP. The sleeve are a bit short on me so I cuffed them twice. The overall length is also shorter than what I typically wear but I love the look with neutral booties.

I got this outfit idea to put the striped blouse with the dotted jeans from LOFT Prudential Center. Click here to see what the blouse looks like untucked. Size XSP fits true to size for a relaxed, flowy fit. I like the button placement on this blouse because I don’t have an issue with the button gaping and showing my bra in the middle of the shirt which is my usual issue with their utility blouses. This blouse is on my wishlist and I wanted to get it next month with the upcoming cash cards promotion.
I also spotted this cute outfit idea at LOFT Prudential Center with the striped blouse.
My usual size XSP fits very similar to size XXS regular which I have in white as reviewed here. I actually wanted this sweater in grey too but that may mean letting go of the white color since I’m trying very hard not to own the same item in multiple colors (aside from cardigans). I have an obsession with grey sweaters.
These dotted jeans are really cute and they fit true to size. They have a good amount of stretch to them so I am worried if they would stretch out by the end of the day. If you have these jeans please share how they hold up in the comments below. I and other readers would really appreciate it!
This polka dot dress fits true to size and it’s really cute. Note that it’s on final clearance but the price is still not appealing to me at only 50% off. It’s slightly looser at my waist but it’s not unflattering. This button placement of this dress is perfect since I don’t have the noticeable button gap issue in the middle of my chest which is my usual issue with blouses and shirt dresses.
I received a request to try on this speckled sweater so here it is in my usual size XSP. The overall length is shorter than I prefer and the sleeves are way too short. I would need this thin sweater in my usual size XXS regular.
This shift style dress runs true to size but the length is unbelievably short. I couldn’t button the last button on the cuff closest to the middle of my forearm since it’s too tight but you can’t tell (see here). It’s also available in a red floral print for the holidays here.
I’ve been having mixed feelings about peplum tops this year but when I saw this new white sweater I had to try it. The material is thinner so you can see the outline of your bra as well as the outline of the waistband of your pants in this whipser white color. My usual size XSP fits true to size for a relaxed fit and the flounce is long enough in the back to cover your bum.
Every time I see an eyelash sweater I can’t help but want to try it since the material is very soft. This eyelash sweater runs true to size. Since I am small chested the top portion is too loose but everywhere else fit me well. Sadly I will return this sweater since it’s not flattering on me.
This blouse is so cute and I have to thank my mom for bringing it to my attention when I was shopping with her in store. She took the blouse her in her usual size but they didn’t have it in petites so I ordered it online. The print is navy blue tulips. I had previously reviewed the striped version here in size XXSP and here in size XSP which helped me decide which size to get. However, in looking at this photo again I think size XSP is too loose so I may exchange it for size XXSP.
I received this popular coat in the mail yesterday but it’s currently sold out online in the smaller sizes in both colors. Size XSP is the smallest size that Old Navy carries and it’s an oversized fit by design. The shoulders are very loose and the sleeves are wider which makes the jacket perfect for lots of layers. The coat is well made and the faux suede lining looks like nice quality but since it’s way too cold for a light jacket I returned both colors for now (although I regretted my decision after the fact). I showed my husband the pictures I took of the ivory jacket and since he’s very straightforward his first reaction was to ask me why it was so big. Out of the two colors I tried I prefer the off white/ivory color more since it would match more.
LOFT has a somewhat similar jacket called the piped funnel neck coat and Madewell has a similar sherpa cocoon coat with a funnel neck (does anyone know if it came in size XXS since only size S and up is available right now?).

Winter white outfit inspiration as seen at Ann Taylor Prudential Center.
I love these butterfly print pajamas and I have them in the lighter print as reviewed here. Above is what the darker print pajamas look like on the in-store display. I spoke to the store manager and she said that the stores only received the printed pajama sets in sizes S, M and L.
This envelope clutch is very pretty and well made in person.
I want these new suede pumps with the little pearl details and they look beautiful in person.
