We just had a snow storm last night but I’ve already started shopping for spring shoes, jackets and white jeans. How cute are the scallop details on these neutral flats (also available in black)? They’re really comfortable off the bat for my slightly wider feet and true to size. I had ordered them in November as mentioned in this post but I recently reordered them with some rewards points.

Ann Taylor – Get an extra 70% off sale styles (this rarely happens). As mentioned in this post I was anticipating this upgrade but it was a bit delayed this year since the change in sale went live at midnight ET. Get 40% off full-price styles (cardmembers get 50% off) using the code WEARNOW. Shop my sales picks here. Refer to all of my Ann Taylor reviews here.
Both of the LOFT and Ann Taylor sales end Tuesday 1/22 at 3AM ET which means that you can save an additional 15% off as a cardmember between 12-3AM ET when the promotions overlap for a few hours.
In case you missed the announcement earlier this month, cardmembers enjoy an extra 15% off at checkout every Tuesday in January (no code needed)! This offer is combinable with other promotions. Hopefully the current sale will run through Tuesday for extra savings if you’re waiting to purchase in order to maximize your savings. Usually this cardmember discount only falls on the first Tuesday of the month.Valid at LOFT, LOFT Outlet, Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Factory stores only. Not valid at Lou & Grey. Purchases must be made with an LOVELOFT or Ann Taylor credit card.
Old Navy – Get 30% off your online order. Discount reflected at checkout. I reviewed a few items below after my new LOFT reviews.
REVIEWS
For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″, I weigh108-110 pounds and I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans if an item runs true to LOFT sizing. If you’re new to my blog I typically share the link to a short video clip below each image (the same video clips I share in my Instagram stories swipe ups during sales). I’ve also been updating Pinterest for those of you that prefer a more visual catalog of my reviews. You can also check out my other reviews organized by retailer here.

This sweater is a very oversized fit. It fits about one size larger but sadly the pink color I like isn’t available in petites. Size XXS measured: 39″ bust (measured pit to pit), 38″ along the bottom (before the hem splits at the start of the ribbed detail), 26.75″ total length.

These white eyelet sneakers looked so cute and they run true to size. The little laser cut scallop details seem like they would cause blisters since they’re stiff around my ankles. The pair I received also arrived smelling strongly of chemicals (the smell is similar to nail polish) so they would need to be aired out.

I tried this wrap blouse on my usual size XSP in a previous post here. Out of curiosity I ordered size XXS regular to try which is a more comfortable fit since hte start of the peplum flounce is closer to my natural waist. I didn’t love how the blouse draped on me in either size so sadly I have to pass.

I saw these high waisted jeans featured on a LOFT store account but now I can’t remember which one. I ordered them to try but my usual size 25/0P is a bit loose so I believe I need them in a size down. The measurements of size 25/0P are as follows: 9.25″ rise, 28″ waist, 31″ hips and 26.25″ inseam with a 10″ ankle opening. The material is 89% cotton, 8% lyocell, 3% spandex.
I also thought these new jeans looked really cute too with the tiny embroidered flower details but I’m not sure that they’re my style.

I ordered this striped tee in size XS after trying on size S in a previous post but I’m not sure I love it enough to keep it. It fits true to size for a relaxed fit. Size XS measurements are as follows: 32″ bust (measured pit to pit), 34″ hips (measured at the start of the shirttail hem), 24″ sleeve length. I just ordered a few new t-shirts from Old Navy to compare but this LOFT striped tee feels similar to the luxe tees from Old Navy.

I ordered this blouse out of curiosity since I like the print but size XXS petite wasn’t very flattering on me. The statement sleeves are too wide and billowy for my preference. Size XXSP fits like my usual size XSP and measured as follows: 34.5″ bust (measured pit to pit), 36″ across hips (before the start of the shirttail hem), 23″ total length.

Size XXS of the the black top measured: 18.5″ bust (measured pit to pit), 23.75″ front length, 26″ back length and 23.25″ sleeve length. It was too loose on me so I didn’t love how it draped on me.
The leggings in size XS have 9.5″ rise and a 28″ inseam. I wish the boucle tweed material offered more compression like normal leggings.

I thought this was a cute simple jacket with an oversized fit but I am unsure if it’s a keeper although it’s well made. Click here to see the yellow (sunflower gold) color I saw in stores. The sleeves are short on me and they have a snap button so you can button them for a closer at the wrists. It’s a classic style spring jacket with functional pockets. I wish the jacket lining was more unique than plain white. I am looking for a pleat or belt detail in the back or storm flap for added interest. The measurements of size XSP are as follows: 38″ bust (measured pit to pit), 44″ along the bottom hem (before the hem splits at the notch on the sides), 21.25″ sleeve length, 13″ upper arm circumference and 29.5″ total length.
J.Crew also has a similar rain jacket although unlined which I had quickly slipped on in size XXS regular but I believe I would have needed size XXXS regular (why there is need for such a vanity size I do not know). I wasn’t impressed with the J.Crew version since it was very thin (I tried on the light pink color for a friend and I found it to be too sheer) and also lacking in details. I haven’t given J.Crew much coverage but you can find all my reviews here.

These distressed white jeans are a good inseam for petites and the hole hits as my knees as expected. They’re not see through but they were a bit loose in my usual size 0P so I had to pass since Old Navy doesn’t offer size 00P. I liked that the pockets lining of this pair and the other white pair (below) was a nude fabric so that the outline of the pockets don’t stand out. The measurements of size 0P are as follows: 8″ rise, 28″ waist, 33″ hips, 24.5″ inseam, 9.5″ ankle opening. The material consists of 91% cotton, 7% elasterell-p, 2% spandex/elastane.

If you don’t like any distressing these white jeans are a good inseam for petites and they’re not see through. Again they were a bit loose in my usual size 0P so I had to pass since Old Navy doesn’t offer size 00P. The measurements of size 0P for this pair are as follows: 8″ rise, 26″ inseam, 28″ waist, 33″ hips and 9″ ankle opening. The material is 91% cotton, 7% elasterell-p, 2% spandex/elastane.

I thought this t-shirt was really cute but size XS ran small and short as seen here. I found that size M is actually the best length on me as you can see from the above picture. I took measurements of size XS which were: 34.5″ bust (measured pit to pit), 36″ along the bottom hem, 19.5″ sleeve length and 22″ total length. The sleeves of size M were closer to full-length sleeves on me but they were still bracelet length. I didn’t love the t-shirt on me so I passed. It comes in other colors too if you like the ruffle detail on the shoulders.

I thought this thin sweater was really cute and comfortable. I tried on size XS but it was too short on me so I sized up to size S for extra length. See the white color on me here which is slightly see through since I had a black bra on when I tried it on over a week ago. I like the grey speckled color the best but it comes in other colors too.

I thought this robe was really cute and I got it for under $6 when I ordered it over a week ago. The buffalo plaid print is currently sold out. I found size XS-S to be a petite friendly fit and I’m usually size XS petite at LOFT, Ann Taylor at Old Navy. The measurements of size XS-S are: 14″ shoulders, 36″ chest, 20.25″ sleeves, 12″ upper arm circumference and 30.5″ total length.

This pretty dress is on my wish list. It also comes in solid black and even though it’s supposed to be a midi dress it’s probably a maxi dress length on petites.
Happy shopping!
