I wore this outfit to work last week and it was so nice to have a three day work week after coming back from the holidays. I only went into the office once and spent the rest of the week working from home which is a winning start to 2019 in my book. I even made it to LOFT for some new try-ons which I shared below.

My LOFT package from last week is finally arriving today. Other online orders should be arriving later this week so I’ll be back with another update. Check out my recent purchases here to get an idea of upcoming reviews. I just ordered these matte Hunter refined back strap boots in black to try since I love my glossy tawny pair (review here) so much.
Update 1/8: I received a few of my packages and a lot of items I ordered I did not love due to the fit. My favorite top from my recent online haul is this chain link mock neck top which fits true to size for a relaxed fit. I also like this cozy ribbed turtleneck sweater which is true to size but the neck is fussy and I can’t get it to look like the picture.
FITTING ROOM REVIEWS
For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″, I weigh108-110 pounds and I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans if an item runs true to LOFT sizing. If you’re new to my blog I typically share the link to a short video clip below each image (the same video clips I share in my Instagram stories swipe ups during sales). I’ve also been updating Pinterest for those of you that prefer a more visual catalog of my reviews. You can also check out my other reviews organized by retailer here.

Banana Republic Skinny Zero Gravity Ankle Jean with Asymmetrical Fray Hem, size 25P (review here) | Hunter Original Refined Gloss Rain Boots in Tawny (true to size, review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
The lace detail on this sweater is very pretty. It’s a thinner material and I was wearing a black bra the other day so you can sort of make out the outline of it. I first saw the sweater at a local store window display a few weeks ago styled with a black skirt and it looked very chic. I tried on size S regular for sizing since I couldn’t find size XS regular but I believe I would need size XS for a relaxed fit.

LOFT Stitchy Flare Sleeve Sweater, size XXSP (review of XSP here and XXS regular here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I decided to give size XXSP a try in this sweater and it fits like my usual size XSP but the length is a bit shorter than I prefer. I would stick with your usual size unless you prefer a closer fit since this sweater has a loose swingy fit.

LOFT Flare Sleeve Sweater, size XXSP (review of size XSP here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I like the fit of size XXSP petite but the sleeves are short on me since I have longer arms that some of my fellow petites. I have this sweater in the muted mocha melange color in my usual size XSP. If you don’t like cowl necks then check out the flare cuff sweater instead.

LOFT Scalloped Sheath Dress, size 0P | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I thought this black scalloped dress was really pretty on the mannequin paired with the red cardigan so I grabbed the dress to try on in my usual size 0P. The dress is a body skimming fit and since I have a straighter figure the skirt portion is loose around my hips as you can see in this clip. I’ll have to try on size 00P for comparison if I can find it in stores but I think that sizing down may be too snug for my preference.

LOFT Polka Dot Collarless Button Down Shirt, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This polka dot shirt is really cute and my usual size XSP fit me well. Unfortunately the middle two buttons have a noticeable gap so people will see a flash of your bra which you can remedy by wearing a cami, using fashion tape or sewing a hidden snap button inbetween.

LOFT Striped Flounce Cuff Sweater, size XXS regular | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This striped sweater is really cute but it’s more close fitting through the body than I’m comfortable with so I have to pass on it. It runs true to size.

LOFT Drop Shoulder V-Neck Sweater, size XS regular | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I like the loose fit of this v-neck sweater. I tried on size XS regular which is a cute oversized fit on me. I want to try size XXS regular or size XS petite for comparison. If you like this style it’s also available in a stripe version which is an online exclusive.

LOFT Textured Open Cardigan, size XS regular | LOFT Denim Leggings in Dark Rinse Wash, size 25/0P | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I’m always looking for cute white cardigans and I tried on this one for sizing. It fits true to size although I noticed that the sleeves are more close fitting but it was comfortable layered over the thin t-shirt I tried on underneath.
These jeans fit true to size as seen here. I didn’t care for the material in this dark rinse wash isn’t the same as the other pair I have in the other vivid dark indigo wash (review here).

LOFT Striped Long Sleeve V-Neck Shirttail Tee, size S regular | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
This striped tee shirt is very popular in stores since it’s a good basic that drapes well. I spotted it at two stores and in both stores size XS was not available so I tried on size S regular which was very loose on me. I would probably need size XS regular for the best fit. The v-neck is also not too low so it’s a modest neckline.

LOFT Ribbed V-Neck Tunic Sweater, size XSP (review here and here)
I was wearing this pink tunic sweater again and I wanted to share a video clip close up of the sleeves here post laundering (I wash on cold and air dry). Someone had asked me about the pilling and from my experience the sleeves of the sweater do pill slightly. I whip out my sweater shaver to remove the pills so it doesn’t bother me.

How cute is the floral print for these socks? This no show sock set also comes with a navy and white stripe sock.
Did you catch my previous post about TLBC petite bras that are no available on Petite Ave? Do you have any petite bra recommendations? I’ve been wearing the Wacoal lace embrace petite bra for years back when it was offered in more than just basic nude and black.
Thanks for stopping by!
Everything looks so cute! I especially love that v-neck tunic sweater on you, Jess. The Style Intermission
Thanks Young! I appreciate your sweet comments!
