For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and108-110 pounds. I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans. If you’re new to my blog I typically share the link to a short video clip below each image.
I reviewed this new Kelly green trench last week in size XXS regular (review here). The sleeves were too long in regular missy so I was happy to find and try on petites in store. The sleeve length for my usual size XSP is is 22.5″. I usually prefer 23-24″ sleeves since I have slightly longer arms than my fellow petites but looking at the model it seems like the sleeves are meant to be bracelet length. The overall total length is also better in petites since it is 32.5″ long. I carry a measuring tape in my purse so these measurements are exact for the size I tried. Click here for a better look at the Kelly green color since it is a different shade than their online stock image.

I wanted this striped blouse when I spotted it online before it was available for sale. Size XXS regular was too loose at the chest since I have a smaller bust. I’m size 32A in petite bras. It’s not too see through for a white top so I didn’t think there was any need to wear a layering cami. If you like this style it’s also available in solid black with white piping here.

Ann Taylor Asymmetric Snap Blouse, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This winter white (ivory) blouse is another new arrival I was excited to try but the solid white color wasn’t very flattering on me. My usual size XSP was a relax fit and the snap buttons down the front are functional. I plan to order the printed version to try in case that looks better on. Update 2/8/19: I ordered the tulip asymmetric snap button blouse in XXSP and XSP to compare and size XXSP is a better fit on me due to my smaller chest (I wear size 32A or 34AA in petite bras).

Ann Taylor Shoulder Bow Shift Dress, size 0P (featured here in size 00P) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I had this little black dress in size 00P as a gifted item for my sponsored post from December. The button closure on the sleeves of size 00P were too tight on my 6″ wrists but size 0P is more comfortable around my wrists since the sleeves are also slightly longer. The fit is looser in my usual size 0P but I like how the dress drapes and the bow strap details on the shoulders. I ordered it on final sale a few weeks ago when it was an extra 70% off sale styles (mid to end of January every year are the best times to shop clearance sales).

Ann Taylor Performance Stretch Skinny Jeans In Black, size 25/0P
These new black jeans are very stretchy and comfortable in my usual size 25/0P. I wish Ann Taylor would make white jeans in this exact material. I noticed these jeans were featured on Ann Taylor’s Instagram yesterday as seen in this post.

Old Navy Luxe Swing Tee, size XS petite | Banana Republic Skinny Zero Gravity Ankle Jean with Asymmetrical Fray Hem, size 25P (review here) | Crown Vintage Thilanna Slip-On Sneaker (true to size, review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I like the drape of this black tee and the back is slightly longer than the front. My usual size XS petite is a snug fit across my chest and arms so I want to try it in a size up but I am not sure if I like the wider, open neckline.

Old Navy Loose Luxe Soft-Spun Tee, size XS petite | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I previously reviewed this tee in another color in size XS regular here. The petite length of this top is shorter than what I prefer in my usal size XS petite since I usually like to cover my front and back. It’s a high low style so the front is shorter than the back. This navy and white stripe color would be really cute in the spring and summer with white jeans.

Old Navy Mid-Rise Distressed Rockstar Jeggings in medium worn, size 0 petite | Old Navy Mock-Neck Rib-Knit Sweater, size S regular (review here) | Click here to view another clip from my try-on
These jeggings are a pull-on style. I was doubtful about the wash but they look better once on. Since they don’t have the usual button fly they look odd to me unless you keep your front covered. The distressing hits at the knees as expected in my usual size 0 petite. The waistband isn’t too stretchy so if you’re curvier you may want to size up so that you can pull them on over your hips. The inseam was 26.5″ so they scrunch ever so slightly on the bottom near my ankles. The measurements of size 0 P are as follows: 8.5″ rise, 28″ waist, 32″ hips, 26.5″ inseam, 9″ ankle opening.
Old Navy Mid-Rise Distressed Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans in dark worn, size 0 petite | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I tried these jeans in my usual size 0 petite but the material has a lot of stretch so the fit in the crotch and through my upper thighs were too loose in person. I liked the wash but I didn’t like the distressing for the one leg where it hit above my knees. I would have preferred the distressing to hit a at the knees for both knees. The measurements for size 0 petite are as follows: 8″ rise, 26″ waist, 32″ hips
26.5″ inseam, 9″ ankle opening.

Old Navy High-Rise Secret-Slim Pockets Button-Fly Rockstar Raw-Edge Ankle Jeans, size 0 regular | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I previously reviewed these jeans in size 2P here but I found that the rise/button fly of 0 regular is more comfortable and the crotch looks more flattering. The inseam was slightly too long in size 0 regular and I contemplated keeping them and cutting them myself where the split starts (where I coincidentally cuffed them in the above picture) but I decided against it. The front pockets have a nude fabric so they’re not see through. Size 0 regular measurements as follows: 9″ rise, 26.5″ waist, 32″ hips, 26.5″ inseam. 8.5″ ankle opening.
SPRING SHOES
I spotted these new spring shoes at Lord & Taylor. I haven’t tried them yet but they appear to be well made and I have to go back to try them on when I’m in less of a hurry.

The black piping and thin mesh add interest to this neutral espadrille. This shoe comes in a lot of different colors too!
