FITTING ROOM REVIEWS
For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″ and currently 110 pounds. I’m usually size XS petite in tops and 0/25 petite in pants and jeans. This dress has is shorter and my usual size is 32″ total length. I would typically take size 0 petite but I took size 00 regular for the extra length.

This floral wrap dress is one of the hero pieces in LOFT’s Black Friy-yay Collection as seen on this sign up page. LOFT featured bloggers of different sizes wearing the same dress here and it really looks amazing on different body types. I tried on both size XSP (above) and size XXSP (below) and I found that my usual size XSP fits me best. I’m currently over my budget this month so this dress is on my wish list along with some other items I tried on today.

LOFT Denim Leggings in Vivid Dark Indigo Wash, size 27/4P | Lucky Brand Yabba Wedge Bootie in sesame suede (true to size)
I took these jeans in size 27/4 petite (according to the size label sewn onto the inside of the jeans but the label on the outside was mislabeled 26/2 petite as seen here). I am usually size 25/0 petite in LOFT jeans. I will have to double check the sizing for these jeans next visit in store. I wore the jeans yesterday and if I did purchase size 27/4 petite then they stretched out too much causing me to have to pull them up (the jeans have a lot of stretch and give). I probably need to try size 26/2 petite on a pair that is correctly labeled. The material is 88% cotton, 9% polyester, 3% elastane.
The measurements of the pair I bought in store are: 9″ rise, 29″ waist, 30″ hips, 24.5″ inseam, 9.5″ ankle opening. The shorter inseam works for when I am wearing them with neutral booties so that the dye doesn’t transfer onto my shoes.
Update 11/2: I tried on my usual size 25/0P petite and they were a bit to snug (to the point where the pocket lining was pulling and showing as seen here) so I took size 26/2P in the pair I picked up in store. See size 26/2P on me here. I was shopping with my coworkers who also bought these jeans. They each had different body types but they both took the jeans in their usual size. I was the only one that chose to size up. The measurements of the new pair of 26/2P I bought in store are: 8.5″ rise, 27″ waist, 29″ hips, 25.5″ inseam, 9″ ankle opening. I was happy that the inseam is longer than the first pair that I bought which is 27/4P if I go by the sizing label sewn inside the first pair as seen here.
Update 11/7: Today I wore out the pair I repurchased which was correctly labeled size 26/2P today and it does stretch out a bit so that I was pulling it up. Therefore, I would go with your usual LOFT size in denim knowing that these jeans have a lot of stretch.

After multiple try-ons and purchasing camel and black in size SP I’ve come to the conclusion that the sleeves of this cardigan fit wider even in size XXSP (pictured above). I purchased camel in XXSP and repurchased black in size XXSP. I gave size SP to my sister who is 5’7″.

I got this outfit idea to put the striped blouse with the dotted jeans from LOFT Prudential Center. Click here to see what the blouse looks like untucked. Size XSP fits true to size for a relaxed, flowy fit. I like the button placement on this blouse because I don’t have an issue with the button gaping and showing my bra in the middle of the shirt which is my usual issue with their utility blouses.

I previously reviewed this striped blouse here and here and I finally found size XXSP to try for comparison. Unfortunately I don’t love how this blouse drapes across my chest so I’ll have to pass although size XXSP fits like size XSP. It’s a beautiful blouse if it fits you well and it doesn’t have the dreaded button gap issue.

My usual size XSP fits very similar to size XXS regular which I have in white as reviewed here. I actually wanted this sweater in grey too but that may mean letting go of the white color since I’m trying very hard not to own the same item in multiple colors (aside from cardigans). I have an obsession with grey sweaters.
LOFT Petite Modern Velvet Dotted Skinny Jeans in Black, size 25/0P
These dotted jeans are really cute and they fit true to size. They have a good amount of stretch to them so I am worried if they would stretch out by the end of the day. If you have these jeans please share how they hold up in the comments below. I and other readers would really appreciate it!

This polka dot shirt is really cute and my usual size XSP fit me well. Unfortunately the middle two buttons have a noticeable gap so people will see a flash of your bra which you can remedy by wearing a cami, using fashion tape or sewing a hidden snap button.

I like the loose fit of this v-neck sweater. I tried on size XS regular which is an oversized fit on me. I want to try size XS petite for comparison. If you like this style it’s also available in a stripe version which is an online exclusive.

I had the opportunity to try on this cardigan in both petite sizing (above) and regular missy (below). I prefer the longer length of regular missy so that I can layer without worrying if my inner layer is sticking out from underneath the cardigan. However, the sleeve length of petites is better since the regular missy sleeves are very long.

I tried on this top a size up from my usual for a more relaxed fit. It’s thin but not too sheer since you can’t see the outline of my nude bra.

This blouse is also available in a tulip I reviewed here. This style blouse in this print runs one size bigger so I would suggest sizing down.

This top reminds me of another blouse I have from last year in black with pink stripes. The chest is narrow in size XXSP unlike the vine print so my usual size would be a more comfortable fit. I was having an issue with static cling in the above picture since it’s 100% polyester. It’s not too sheer so layering would be optional for me.

This tulip print top is similar to ruffled split neck peplum blouse I reviewed here in sizes XXSP and XSP. Unlike the olive color there is something about the print that makes my usual size XSP appear to fit better.

This is a thinner sweater but it wasn’t too sheer on me so a base layer is optional (although looking from the below try-on of size XXSP the white color looks slightly sheer when I was trying it on while wearing a black bra). I found that it runs true to size for a relaxed fit. It doesn’t contain any wool so it’s not itchy.

I decided to give size XXSP a try in this sweater and it fits like my usual size XSP but the length is a bit shorter than I prefer. I would stick with your usual size unless you prefer a closer fit since this sweater has a loose swingy fit.

This sweater is really cute but it’s a bit more fitted at the hips than I prefer so you can see the bumps from the button fly of my jeans. It runs true to size so I may need to try size SP for comparison.

This tee fits true to size and it’s not too fitted. It has a longer overall length so I’m on the fence about keeping it but I like the button detail on the sleeves.

I love the ruffle edges on this scarf. I got this grey color and my mom got the lilac color.

I took my usual size XSP for a relaxed fit. I wore it twice so far and it hasn’t pilled. I like that the v-neck is more u-shaped and it isn’t too low. Update 1/3/19: The sleeves of the sweater do pill. I whip out my sweater shaver to remove the pilling.

I love the subtle ruffle details on the sleeves and my usual size XSP is a relaxed fit. I had ordered the darker grape color which I reviewed below but I noticed that this purple mist heather color runs smaller and fits me better.

Here is the grape color of the same sweater I reviewed at the top of this post. This color is longer than the light purple color even though they’re both the same size. I decided to only keep the light purple color.

I ordered this striped tee in size XS after trying on size S in a previous post but I’m not sure I love it enough to keep it. It fits true to size for a relaxed fit. Size XS measurements are as follows: 32″ bust (measured pit to pit), 34″ hips (measured at the start of the shirttail hem), 24″ sleeve length. I just ordered a few new t-shirts from Old Navy to compare but this LOFT striped tee feels similar to the luxe tees from Old Navy.

I’ve been wanting to try this plaid blouse for a while and I finally remember to order it to try. I’ve tried on other split neck blouses before and I’ve always had to size down since I have a smaller chest. The material is thinner and it’s the same material as this plaid ruffle collar utility blouse I reviewed here. Size XXSP fits like size XSP so I found it to fit one size bigger and would recommend sizing down. The top is still a bit loose (the v-neck moves around and I can see a slight peek of my bra) all over on me so I returned it but I really love the size of the plaid print.

I really wanted this sweater to work out but I missed out on size XXS regular and size XS regular is an oversized fit on me so I passed for now. The colors remind me of a cupcake. I’m happy to report that it’s not itchy. If you don’t like cowl neck sweaters it’s also available in a ballet neck version here.

I was curious about this sweater but I didn’t love this blue color on me. I’ll have to try it in the grey color another time. It fits true to size for a relaxed fit and the material isn’t itchy since it doesn’t contain wool.

I saw the grey color and I tried it on in XS regular. I actually prefer the oversized fit of going up one size from my usual.

I like the fit of size XXSP petite but the sleeves are short on me since I have longer arms that some of my fellow petites. I have this sweater in the muted mocha melange color in my usual size XSP. If you don’t like cowl necks then check out the flare cuff sweater instead.

This pink blouse is really pretty and feminine but runs one size bigger. Size XXSP fits like size XSP but it has a short and boxy fit in petites so I passed on it. It is fully lined (why aren’t more thin polyester tops lined?) so it’s not see through.

This neutral wrap is really cute and since it’s an open style it’s more petite friendly than their other wraps where the sides are closed on the sides. Size XS/S is also a petite friendly length that’s not too overwhelming.

Click here to see a side view of the coat and I was wearing this bow keyhole back top (review here) underneath. As mentioned in my previous post I decided to keep this white puffer coat but as I suspected I got makeup along the collar of the coat since I didn’t wear a scarf to prevent it. The jacket is machine washable so the makeup stain came out easily with some Shout. I wish I had sized down to size XXSP especially after my friend Su shared how it fit her since we’re similar in size at LOFT.
Update 2/18/19: My usual size XSP is a relaxed fit perfect for layering with a thicker sweater as shown below but after wearing it out I would prefer size XXSP for a closer fit so I listed this coat on my Poshmark closet.

I received a request to try on this jacket so I ordered size XXS regular to try since I haven’t seen it in stores in petites. Size XXS regular has really long sleeves and it’s a looser fit for comfortable layering underneath. I didn’t love it belted on me but it’s very shapeless if you don’t belt it. I needed size XSP for the shorter length.

This puffer jacket fits true to size for a relaxed fit that is comfortable for layering. If you prefer a more fitted look then you may be able to try the size down but I opted for my usual size XSP.
