Happy Thursday! This is my first post since moving from Blogger to WordPress last week thanks to pipdig and I hope you like the new layout. I’ve been getting a lot of use out of the Sophie sweater blazer for work as seen here and above.

I love this scalloped lace top that I took my in usual size XSP. I also bought this one in my usual size XSP when it was 50% off last week. I haven’t had a chance to properly review both of them yet so I’ll do that in an upcoming post so that you can see what it looks like without something covering the above top.

I usually try to style an item a few ways before I decide if it’s worth keeping. This white lace dress is definitely white and not off white or cream colored.

The dress looked really pretty online so I had ordered it to try on for sizing. Size 00 regular measures: 30″ bust, 27″ waist, 33.5″ total length and it fits more snug through the waist and hips than I expected but I am afraid that sizing up would make the arm holes too big on me. The dress is fully lined but the fabric is thin so nude undergarments are required. I also noticed that the lining may stick out as seen here so if you receive a dress with this issue then you will need to order another one to try. I returned the dress for now since I was expecting the dress to be thicker.

I liked the scalloped hem and laser cut details on this dress but the top portion (19″ length) before the skirt portion of the dress was slightly long for my torso. The rest of the dress fit true to my usual LOFT sizing. Size 0P measures: 31″ bust, 28″ waist, 34″ total length. The ponte material adds a bit of structure and drapes well.

I previously reviewed this top in XSP and I ordered XXS regular afterwards. It is a more comfortable fit in regular missy since the peplum flounce hits at a better spot on my waist but now the wrap design is too open. It opens up easily when I put on a jacket or move around so I returned it rather than dealing with fashion tape to secure it. I’ve seen some people layer this blouse with a cami but I don’t like when the cami shows through my tops. Another reason I returned it (and marked it as damaged) was because the exact one I received also had little dots of stains on the fabric almost like someone was eating spicy ramen while sewing it.

Size XXS regular measures: 36.5″ chest, 24″ sleeve length, 23.5″ total length. I had this hoodie last year and I was happy to see that they brought it back again this year. Last year I took size XS regular but I recently resold it and I tried reordering XXS regular which is a bit long and loose on me. I want to try it in petites for comparison before making up my mind.

The light pastel colors and scallop crewneck collar of this sweater caught my attention. I went up one size for a relaxed fit. The measurements of size XS regular are as follows: 20″ sleeves, 10″ upper arm circumference, 36″ chest, 34″ along the bottom hem, 23″ total length.

I have a jacket obsession so I had to order this new swingy raincoat to try. When I zipped the jacket as seen here I noticed that my usual size XSP is a bit snug through the shoulders and chest since the arm holes are cut more narrow. The measurements of size XSP are as follows: 22″ sleeve length, 36″ bust (measured pit to pit while zipped), 42″ along the bottom hem, 23″ total length. I would need size XXS regular for a better fit and slightly longer length but it’s currently sold out online.

I originally ordered this scalloped top in XXS regular but the arm holes were a bit looser on me so I decided to reorder it in my usual size XS petite. The petite size fits me perfectly, my arm hole issue is resolved and I prefer the slightly shorter length. The measurements of size XSP are: 34″ chest, 42″ along the bottom hem and 23″ total length.

I’ve been curious about this flower branch jumpsuit since seeing it on an ad in store. I finally found it in petites to try and my usual size XSP is slightly snug at the chest but fits true to size everywhere else. The back is smocked so it will stretch to fit. It shows my armpits more than I prefer so I passed on it for the time being although I would wear a jacket or cardigan over it anyway.

If you’re looking for a versatile little black dress this spring and summer then I would recommend this swing dress since it has flattering side panels and the tulip sleeves are really cute. Size XXSP fits like my usual size XSP but it’s a little shorter than I prefer so I wanted to try my usual size XSP for comparison. I’m small chested (32A/34AA in petite bras – my favorite bra is $31.20 today when it’s normally $52) so the noticeable difference between size XXSP and XSP for swing dresses is most noticeable in how it drapes across the chest.

I previously reviewed this tee in size MP here. I decided to exchange it for size SP in store and interestingly I did the exchange on the first Tuesday of the month so they were able to match the price I paid and I got an extra 15% off. Size SP fits like my usual size XSP for a relaxed fit. The tee is double lined in the front so it’s not too thin.

I thought these sandals were gorgeous albeit expensive at $109 but I ordered them on Amazon for free shipping and free returns out of curiosity. The length is very short in my usual size 7 but they only come in whole sizes and I’m afraid sizing up may be too long. For now I returned them since they’re pricier than what I would prefer to pay. There is cushion on the back of the soles but when I rock my feet back and forth it felt a bit uneven. 3/4 of the shoe is covered in a tan lining but I am worried that the lining might eventually peel with wear compared to an unlined/all leather foot bed.

I was also considering this pair from Zara which come in many color options this season but I like the white color a lot. These white sandals from Target are a budget friendly option at $19.99.

I’ve been looking for H band sandals for a while now and this pair is made in Italy and very nice quality. DSW often has sales and I bought these sandals this past weekend when the store matched the 20% off promotion that they were doing online. I had to go up half a size in these since the length was short in my usual size 7.

For a very affordable option I also bought these sandals from Walmart and they’re decent quality considering that they’re only $7.98. The online stock image needs improvement and the color is misleading but when I saw them in store the color is a nice cognac. The front band is slightly snug across my foot but I’m hoping they’ll stretch with wear.

Last but not least, I was passing through Nordstrom and I spotted these pretty sandals on display. I slipped on size 6.5 quickly but I’m pretty sure I need them in my usual size 7. I have my eye on the blush suede color.
