Happy Wednesday! Before I dive into my reviews I wanted to share that I (finally) decided to move from Blogger to WordPress and the work should be done soon. In the off chance that you have bookmarked my old blog URL (https://shoppingwithjess.blogspot.com) please update your bookmark or rss feed to https://www.whatjesswore.com to ensure that you continue to see new updates.
LOFT & Found is now on reddit! This public community should allow you to post ISOs (in search of) and share your closets with ease. I used to use reddit and recently picked it up again but I have no idea how many people still use it. I guess I’ll see if reddit takes off although I know most people prefer Instagram and Facebook. Thank you in advance for being a part of the community whichever platform you prefer to use!

They also just launched a small collection of snakeskin print items today.
Going back to the polka dot dress at the very top of this post I took the dress in my usual size 0P. Click here for my size reference. As another online reviewed noted I wish the sash/material was double sided since I had to carefully tie the sash so that the unlined side wouldn’t show.

I also took this wrap dress in my usual size 0P. The dress has a hidden snap to prevent peep shows but the v-neck is slightly low on me. This dress is fully lined so it is not see through.

Here is another view of the dress hung up in the fitting room so that you can see the details and color. I loved this lace dress in store so I brought it home with me but now I’m not so sure I love it on me since I’m self-conscious of my waist. It’s lined and very comfortable. I also tried on size 0 regular as seen in this clip.
See size 0P on me here (video clip here). The blazer is narrow through the armpit so I went up to size 2P as seen on me here and here. I tried on both sizes since I wanted to make sure that sizing up to size 2P was the right choice.
I also tried on the new performance stretch denim jacket in size XXSP here and XSP here since I received a request to try it on. The jacket runs smaller so you will need to size up but I happen to have narrow shoulders and a smaller bust. Flickr is still not letting me upload videos due to their migration efforts to AWS so please click on the links to video clips of the jacket from my try-on. I’ll try to re-record better video clips in natural lighting in a few days so that you can see the true color of the classic mid indigo wash which is a nice medium wash. The jacket has more of a cropped length and there is only a slight difference between size XXSP and XSP. I took the below measurements with the jackets buttoned.
The measurements of size XXSP are:
32″ bust (measured pit to pit)
32″ along the bottom hem
21.5″ sleeve length
12″ upper arm circumference
19″ total length
In comparison, the measurements of size XSP are as follows:
32.5″ bust (measured pit to pit)
32.5″ along the bottom hem
21.5″ sleeve length
12″ upper arm circumference19.5″ total length
LOFT Striped Drawstring Cowl Neck Top, size XXS regular (review here) | c/o Ann Taylor High Rise Performance Stretch Skinny Jeans, size 25/0P (review here) | Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Shoreline Sneaker (true to size, similar here)
I wore this cowl neck top over the weekend but I couldn’t help feeling it is a bit loose on me but it’s great for comfortable casual wear with leggings as shown below.
I received this vegan suede moto jacket and size XS regular fit me well but the sleeves were a little long and loose on me. I believe I need size XXS regular or XS petite for the best fit. In person the blush pink color looks salmon pink and I found it to be a shade of pink that I would have trouble pairing with a lot of my outfits so I returned it for me. The navy color is nice so I may re-order it if it goes on sale for a better discount in the future. I did order this short trench in XXSP to try since I remember trying XSP quite a while back which was too big and these cognac espadrilles.
My husband loves Banana Republic so I updated his page here and everything from the recent haul worked out in his usual size. The denim jacket should arrive on Friday and I’m curious to see what that looks like on him.
I ordered this peplum top in the garden print but I really wanted to try the solid white version although my friend Su informed me that it’s see through. It fits true to size for a flowy fit.
LOFT Striped Pullover Hoodie, size XS regular (picture from 2018)
This striped hoodie is back in stock again (linked here). I poshed size XS regular from last year and I repurchased size XXS regular last week when I saw that it was restocked this season. I’m hoping the new size will be a better fit since it’s a really cute and comfy hoodie if it fits well.
I tried on this new wrap top in my usual size XSP but the torso was too short. I ordered size XXS regular to try and my new LOFT haul should arrive this weekend! If the wrap top doesn’t work out I have my eyes on this eyelet split neck peplum top from the sneak preview section.
I was curious about this eyelash sweater and it’s an oversized fit on me in size XS regular. The holes are larger so a layering cami is required. I noticed that the material feels similar to a loofah.
LOFT’s jumpsuits can sometimes be short-waisted so I tried on size XS regular to assess the fit. The pant length is a good full-length fit on me since I’m 5’2.5′ and the inseam is comfortable although the waist is too loose on me as seen here since I’m usually size XS petite or XXS petite at LOFT.
This bright sweater is a cute simple sweater for a pop of color. Size XS regular fits true to size and I found it to be slightly sheer since I could see the outline of my dark denim.
This skirt has a 28″ waist for size 0 regular so it’s a little loose on me but it rests on my hips comfortably.
I also tried on the green flower branch wrap skirt in size 0 regular and I took measurements as follows: 27″ waist, 24.5″ front length, 29″ back length. I tried to upload the video clip from my try-on but I am having issues right now.
Size XXSP of this raincoat fits like my usual size XSP but the 21.25″ sleeves are short on me since I usually prefer at least 23″ sleeves. I first tried it on with a long sleeve top but once I tried it on with the below sleeveless top my arms quickly started to get sweaty since the material traps your heat (which reminded me of the explanation here).
This dotted top is really cute and runs true to size for a flowy fit but I was disappointed to find that the material is very sheer.
Here is what the mules look like with ankle length jeans. The Jodie mules are available in a few different colors and leopard print and they have the same silhouette as their Mila style pumps. I found that they run true to size. You can view this clip if you want to see what they look like when you try to walk in them.
Ann Taylor Jacy Polka Dot Bow Leather Slingback Flats (true to size) | Ann Taylor Curvy Frayed Hem Performance Stretch Skinny Jeans in ecru, size 00P (review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I wanted to love these Jacy style polka dot slingback flats which run true to size but I wasn’t sure how much I would reach for them.
I need these sandals in a half a size for extra length. Click here to view the clip from my try-on. I am waiting for the next sale to get these sandals since they look very high quality considering all of the similar versions available right now.
I also ordered the $109 Kaanas Santorini infinity sandals to try but they only come in whole sizes. My usual size 7 is too short although my heels don’t hang off the back. I didn’t like how the cushion felt because it makes the sandls feel uneven/wobbly. The sandal is lined in such a way on top that it’s only 3/4 covered. I’m concerned that the lining will eventually peel/curl which would bother me immensely so I returned them although they’re a very beautiful design. I’ll try to share a photo of them on me soon.
These sandals are well made and they’re offered in 5 versatile colors/prints. I found that they run rue to size and they’re very comfortable. Click here to view the clip from my try-on.
I also tried on these Marc Fisher Kai espadrille wedge sandals which run true to size and the beige color is on my wish list. I actually have the similar Kickoff style (review here) from last year but I didn’t reach for them much due to the ruffles. I’m waiting for DSW to have a promotion so I can order some new spring shoes from my recent visit.
Thanks for stopping by!
