Happy Sunday! This yellow cropped top is a recent purchase and I styled it two ways below. It’s available in petites in stores but online I only see missy sizes available and it also comes in white and navy. I also tried out a hair accessory trend with this striped headband which is comfortable since it doesn’t apply too much pressure.

I wore this outfit to work the other day and the moto jacket makes this look more business casual while also keeping me warm in the chilly office. My husband liked this outfit so much that he suggested we try to take photos on his DSLR camera. Usually I have to ask him to take photos for me but I would love to know whether you prefer high resolution photos or mirror selfies. From my observations mirror selfies are more relatable and good enough for the types of posts I typically share.

Here is another outfit I wore to work this week. I love the pretty lace and scalloped details. The polyester material is thicker so the top is not sheer. I took my usual size.
I previously reviewed this cascading ruffle top in the periwinkle blue color here. If you’re a stickler for details, I noticed that the edge where the ruffle is attached/sewn shows through the material in the winter white color as seen here but the periwinkle color doesn’t have the same issue. The top has a shorter length making size 00 regular better for extra length instead of my usual size 0 petite. In full disclosure I returned this top and only kept the dress (review here).
This lace top is really pretty but the mock neck was snug against my neck. I found it to be bothersome so I returned this top but it fits true to size for a relaxed fit.
I was curious about this cropped top so I ordered it in my usual size but the bust dart placement wasn’t flattering on my smaller chest.
These Chelsea pants run more true to size than Ann Taylor’s usual vanity sizing. I took size 2P since my usual size 0P was too snug. Size 2P has a 28″ waist and it has a 25″ inseam so they hit above the ankle on me. The material is machine washable. Note that these pants have an exposed side zipper. I like the flat front and back for a smoother look.

I saw this sweater jacket in store in the red color and the texture adds an extra level of detail so I ordered it in black to try. It is a cropped fit in my usual size XSP but not quite the length I was looking for to wear with dresses so I ended up returning it. I wish the sweater jacket came in white. I styled it two ways above and below for a few casual warm weather looks.

The Mila style pumps are one of my favorite silhouettes and this new scalloped perforated version does not disappoint. ‘Maple blush’ is a flattering taupe/neutral color against my skin tone.

These ecru perforated block heel sandals are really cute with the scalloped details but I find them hard to match with a lot of my outfits. They’re a walkable heel height and I got them for a great price when I was able to stack 2 codes in the prior sale last week.

I ordered this barrette as a filler item and I was happy to find that this tortoise flower clip is really nice against my black hair. It also came with a thin pastel pink clip as a part of the set.
ANN TAYLOR FACTORY REVIEWS
I haven’t stopped into Ann Taylor Factory in a long time but I’m so glad that I did since I found this yellow top. Size XXSP fits like my usual size XSP for a loose relaxed fit due to the dolman style sleeves. I wanted it in the other colors but my size was sold out in store. I would have asked to do a ‘send sale’ where the store orders the color and size you want from another store (shipping is complimentary too) but I was in a rush. I linked to the top above in regular missy sizes but if you need a petite size I would recommend checking with your local store.
I was curious about this textured coatigan and tried on size XXSP which fits like my usual size XSP. It has functional side entry pockets. Note that the shoulder seams are a drop shoulder style.
I liked this dress from the front but the back (sorry no photo) was clingy in a way that made me pass. I do like the print, knot and ruching detail in the front. Perhaps I need to try it in a size up but I should prioritize getting toned/fit now that warmer weather is here and I’m no longer covered in layers.
The button details on this dress are really cute and my usual size 0P fit me well. The back of this dress was not clingy unlike the other dress. It also came in a pretty blue floral print (note the blue color only comes in missy sizes) and I like the vintage vibes.
This striped jacket is well made and so cute with the peplum flounce and I wish it came in petites. The missy sizing is too loose and petite proportions would have been better on me.
