Happy Saturday! I wore this outfit to work recently and noticed that this blouse does pop back in random sizes or you can always check eBay (size S and M regular are available here). The leopard print is one of my favorites.
I placed a LOFT order on Monday and it looks like I should receive the package today so I hope to be back with another review soon. Based on last May’s sales I believe the Memorial Day sale should go live on Wednesday.
Infinitely LOFT recently launched on May 8th following the launch of Infinite Style by Ann Taylor in late 2018 which is clothing as a service powered by Gwynnie Bee. For $64.95 a month you can rent 3 pieces at a time with unlimited swaps and if you love something and want to keep it then you can buy it for 50-80% off retail prices. What do you think of this strategy as brands becomes more competitive for a piece of our paychecks and a place in our closets?
I thought that the LOFT Social team did a good job of addressing a lot of objections, questions and concerns about this new service in the comments of this post on their Instagram feed. (Update 6/18: I came across this Facebook discussion page dedicated to Infinitely LOFT.) At this time the selection from their rental selection is too limited and I only liked 4-5 pieces (since I already own a few of the pieces). I would like the ability to choose from more than one size since many of us are between two sizes. I would not want to waste one of the swaps on getting the right size/fit. It would also be nice to able to vote for which pieces should be part of the rental collection. Similar to Stitch Fix (refer to my old reviews here and here) I think part of the monthly fee should go towards any item(s) you decide to keep. I like the idea of having key pieces to rotate in my closet without having to worry about what to do with the items once I’ve tired of them.
Are you thinking of trying their new clothing subscription service or which service is your favorite?

I found this tie front top last week from T.J. Maxx for $9.99. It washed well and it’s my first top in this popular waffle knit button down style with the ties in the front.
Last weekend I stopped into Banana Republic Factory and I tried this lemon print pleated front tank but I left empty handed since I needed size XXS regular. Out of curiosity I was browsing online and I ordered a few items to try since they were having a good sale. Here are some items that caught my eye online including this new circle hem shawl collar blazer which is similar to an old Forever 21 blazer of mine.
This pink pleated cami did not come in petites but I ordered it anyway since the straps are adjustable and luckily it’s a petite friendly length. It’s lined in the front but not in the back which is slightly sheer.
I like the idea of sleeveless trench vests so I ordered this one to try. It’s a longer length so it hits below my knees but I noticed that is where it hits the model in the stock image as well. It arrived very wrinkled so I had to steam it out quite a bit. Size XXS petite fits more like size XS petite. The belt sash that it comes with is flimsy so it doesn’t tie the prettiest bow as seen in this picture here of the back of the trench. It’s only half lined but I like that it comes with pockets, a back vent and it has minimal details making it a more classic, timeless style. The color is a light sand color.
I ordered this scallop camisole with adjustable straps but size XXS petite was too snug and the petite sizes are practically sold out.
I also ordered this tencel military jacket but size XS petite fits one size bigger so I should have sized down. The shoulders were too wide on me. It’s a neutral thin (unlined) jacket that’s suitable for the summer.
This button up cami dress is really cute and it comes in many colors. Abercrombie is junior sizing so size M fit me well in the regular size. It also comes in tall sizes if you need the extra length. It wasn’t on sale last weekend so I didn’t get it but I like the thicker straps and sweetheart neckline.
This cami also comes in the same tan stripes as the dress. This cami is looser fitting and more true to size than the dress. It also wasn’t on sale last weekend so I did not pull the trigger.
Thanks for stopping by!
