Happy Sunday! I’m back with a few new reviews this week. My Cyber sale order from last weekend should be arriving this week (shipping was a bit delayed) so I should have more reviews come next weekend.

CARDMEMBER APPRECIATION MONTH
June is Credit Cardmember Appreciation Month which means an extra 15% off every Tuesday in June as seen in this email. This perk applies to both Ann Taylor and LOFT credit cardmembers for purchases at Ann Taylor and LOFT.
In the spirit of Cardmember Appreciation Month, get 50% off one full-price item for every single purchase you make this month both in-store and online at LOFT. Use promo code LOVELOFT every time you shop. This promotion ends June 30, 11:59PM ET. See the in-store barcode and fine print here. Excludes charitable items, sneak preview, Lou & Grey and third party merchandise.
This is the first year I’ve noticed that LOFT Cash is $20 instead of $25 for every $50 you spend in stores and online through June 11th. Each cash card I received also has it’s own unique online code so the generic LOFTCASH online code probably will not work come June 18-July 2, 2019.
Build the perfect summer wardrobe and shop $12 tees, $25 shorts (I can’t wait to get these sailor shorts in the mail) and $35 dresses at LOFT. Sale ends Tuesday June 11 at 11:59PM ET. Also save an extra 40% off sale styles.
FITTING ROOM REVIEWS
OUTFIT DETAILS: LOFT Tiered Eyelet Dress, size XSP (review here) | KUT from the Kloth Helena Denim Jacket in Empathetic wash, size XXSP (old review here, similar here) | LOFT Pom Pom Straw Tote | LOFT Criss Cross Slingback Sandals (true to size, review here and here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I know I mentioned that this straw tote is very large in a previous post but I picked up this tote after I noticed a size and color difference when choosing between the available bags in store. For size reference I’m 5′ 2.5″.
OUTFIT DETAILS: Ann Taylor Lace Strap Eyelet Flare Dress, size 0P | LOFT Pom Pom Straw Tote | LOFT Criss Cross Slingback Sandals (true to size, review here and here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I ordered this white eyelt dress in size 00P and 0P but my usual size fit me well. It’s fully lined and it also comes in black. Size 00P has a 27.5″ empire waist while size 0P has a 28.5″ empire waist. I like the thicker straps which cover my bra straps. I ordered this dress when the sale had coincided with the credit cardmember discount for an extra 15% off. You can use code THANKS1 for 50% off full-price promotional items at Ann Taylor. The THANKS1 code excludes The Preview, suiting, third-party merchandise and sale items.
OUTFIT DETAILS: LOFT Drawstring Utility Jacket, size XSP (review of the olive color here) | c/o Ann Taylor Applique Sweater Tee, size S regular | Similar black skinny jeans here and here | Similar cap toe heels here and here | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
Click here to see the color in natural lighting. I have been looking for a light colored jacket for a while so I was happy to see that LOFT came out with this jacket in a light khaki color this season. It’s unlined so it’s a thinner jacket that’s the perfect layer if you’re afraid of chilly air conditioned offices. My usual size XSP fit me well and I like the adjustable ties if you want more waist definition.
LOFT Striped Sweater Blazer, size SP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I wanted this striped sweater blazer but I completely forgot about it until I saw it in the sale section this weekend. Size SP was too loose especially in the sleeves so I ordered size XXSP on final sale. I hope it fits but if not then perhaps my local store will let me return it otherwise I’m sure I can list it on Poshmark.
LOFT Slub Modern Blazer, size 0P (previous review and measurements here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I love white blazers and I had actually ordered and returned this one a while back but the one in store was nicely steamed so it looked crisp. I tried it on again to make sure that I wouldn’t regret my decision. The material for the outer layer is thinner so you can make out the seams and outline of what you pair underneath it. I do like the cut and style of it so I may keep an eye on it once it gets marked down.

My friend Ly asked me to try on this new eyelet skirt. I actually ordered it as part of the Cyber sale in sizes 00 regular and 0P so I’m curious if I would prefer the longer length of the regular missy size. Size 0P has a 28″ waist so it was a comfortable fit on me. Note that I’m currently 114 pounds.

LOFT Floral Cutout Back Dress, size 0P (review of size 0 regular here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I believe I need this dress in a size up after trying on two sizes in store. My usual size 0P has a 27″ waist while my current natural waist is 29″. The petite size wasn’t as short as I feared after all.
LOFT Striped Tie Waist Flare Dress, size 0P | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This stretchy dress is shorter and more snug at the waist in my usual size 0P so I would probably want to try the regular missy size for comparison. You can also see the dress on @melissamurphydcva.
LOFT Star Embroidered Sweatshirt Tee, size XSP | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
This star sweatshirt would be a cute 4thof July option. My usual size XSP fit me well. The start are embroidered instead of printed which is a nice detail.
LOFT Tie Waist Button Jumpsuit, size 0P (review of size 00P here) | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I finally found this jumpsuit in my usual size 0P and unlike my previous review my usual size is much too loose at the chest. The pockets were freed on this so it made my hips look wide. Depending on your body type you will either love or dislike this jumpsuit.
LOFT Floral Fluid Wide Leg Pants, size XXSP | Click here and here to view the clips from my try-on
I was curious about these wide leg pants after seeing them on a few people but I didn’t like them on me at all. Size XXSP fits like my usual size XSP but if you’re more curvy then I would stick with your usual LOFT size.
Madewell Ruffle-Sleeve Midi Dress in Oasis Palms, size XS | LOFT Criss Cross Slingback Sandals (true to size, review here and here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I popped into Madewell and fell in love with this print. I’m not familiar with their sales but this dress is on my wish list. It’s fully lined 100% polyester so it should be easy to care for. Size XS was too loose in the waist and chest on me so I’m pretty sure I need size XXS for a better fit. Update 7/3: I received size XXS in the mail today and it’s still a loose fit but the square neckline fits better without feeling like my bra would be exposed.
WHBM Polished Knit White Fit-and-Flare Dress, size XSP | Ann Taylor Mila Scalloped Perforated Leather Pumps (true to size, review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
My friend Annie recently gifted me this white dress and it was just the right size for me too! I noticed it’s currently on sale and it’s also available in black. I haven’t bought anything from this brand in years but I like the quality and comfort of this dress. It’s also not see through for a white dress since the ponte material is thicker.
Thanks for stopping by!
My favorite is the Madewell Midi, it’s gorgeous on you!
