Greetings from Philly! I stopped by a new to me LOFT here in Philadelphia and I tried on a few items. I also went to a few other stores so this week’s post is a mix of different finds.
OUTFIT DETAILS: LOFT Floral Cutout Back Peplum Top, size XXS regular (review here) | LOFT Denim Sailor Shorts in white, size 24/00 regular (review here) | Ann Taylor Lasercut Tote (past season, buy on Poshmark here) | LOFT Criss Cross Slingback Sandals (true to size, review here and here)
LOFT Modern High Waist Slim Pocket Skinny Jeans in Staple Dark Indigo Wash, size 26/2P | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
These jeans are available in petites in store and the petite style number is 518625. However, it’s currently only available in regular missy sizes online. It’s a lighter medium wash so I don’t know why they use the word ‘dark’ in the name of the item. I tried on a size up since this wash runs snug. Size 26/2P is still a slimmer fit through the pant legs so you may want to size up for comfort. I like the narrow ankle opening and the 25″ inseam hits just above my ankles. Update 8/1: I tried on size 26/2P again and size 27/4P and both pairs had a 26″ inseam so each pair may be slightly different. Also size 27/4P fit me more comfortably through the hips but I like the slimming effect of size 26/2P. I’ve been on the lookout for jeans that will transition well into the fall.
LOFT Modern High Waist Slim Pocket Skinny Jeans in White, size 24/00P | LOFT Garden Button Flutter Shell, size XSP (review here) | Treasure & Bond Miles Slide Sandal (review here) | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
In comparison to the above wash this white pair has a good stretch to it and it runs one size larger. Size 24/00P fits like my usual size 245/0P and the inseam is longer measuring 26.5″. This style is also available in petites but only the regular missy sizes are available online first. The petite style number is 516804. The material is a bit thinner so nude/seamless undergarments are required.
This wrap skirt runs true to LOFT sizing and I fit my usual size. The waistband has some stretch to it and measures 28″ for size 0P.
This striped tee has a looser fit and I would recommend sizing down if you’re considering it. I had grabbed it from the sale section to pair with the skirt and it looks fine tucked into something. However, when I untucked it you can see how sheer the material is especially against the waistband of my white shorts.
This dress runs true to size to one size larger since I have room on the sides as seen in this clip. If you’re not curvy then you may be able to size down for a closer fit. Note that this dress is 100% rayon so it will shrink after washing as another online reviewer had noted.
This new white top caught my attention in stores but I couldn’t find it in petites to try on. It’s fully lined so it shouldn’t be too sheer.
Universal Thread High-Rise Jean Shorts in Medium Wash, size 0 | Click here to view the clip from my try-on
I only brought one pair of shorts with me on vacation this week so I bought these shorts after trying on a few different pairs in store. Size 0 fit me well and has a 28″ waist. I also tried on size 00 which was too snug for comfort.
Click here to see how I tied this knot around a belt loop which is a variation of this style tip shared by @loveloft_gardencity. It would work well with loose fitting solid tees. This striped peplum tee is also available in black here.
I probably shouldn’t buy any more sandals with one month of summer left but I couldn’t resist these white sandals. I tried a half size up but the length was too long so I stuck with my usual size 7. The strap across the foot is a bit snug but I hope it will stretch with wear. They come in other colors and a snake print here.
This marigold dress caught my eye in the window display. I tried on size XXSP since I couldn’t find my usual size XSP. Size XXSP fit me well but it was a bit snug through the shoulders when I moved around. I typically stay away from dresses with an elastic waist since it makes me look wider as seen below.
This vine print dress is a versatile print for transitioning into the fall. Unfortunately I couldn’t find my size to try on and there was only one left in the petite section. It’s also 100% polyester which I prefer since rayon typically shrinks and requires steaming to regain some of the lost length from laundering.
I previously reviewed this dress here but I bought the dress this time around since I like the floral print. The dress isn’t lined so you need to make sure to wear seamless undergarments.

I love the subtle snake print of this dress and the pleated half sleeves. It’s fully lined and runs true to size. Hopefully it will be on sale in the near future.
Thanks for stopping by!
